If Max walked away now he would still be mentioned among the very best drivers of all time.

Nobody is stopping you cry baby max. Go if you want to go 😂😅

What is this reporting? Like Daniel Ric is de@d or so?? It is purely up to him that he "loses" his seat, it should have happened way before and not dragging on for so long. What a tearjerking """reporting""" this...

Maybe he should just grow up and stop speaking like a gutter snipe
@justice4g Says:
FYI, Daniel's quali was messed up the same way as the Ferrari drivers, couldn't get the tyres up to temp.. They failed at the race strat again, didn't even plan to run a hard tyre.

Goodbye gift? 🤮
@jvolney Says:
He has to leave. Unless the asymmetric breaking valve can be brought back.
@RabidJohn Says:
Most of us are expecting Max to move on from F1 sooner rather than later, probably to WEC, but he has so many options. This FIA silliness could prematurely lose them one of the stars of the sport.

Max Verstappen: 'Formula 1 continues without me, but my life also continues without Formula 1'

Frankly Max is a spoilt brat. As competition Catches up to his car, he can't take it. He should quit at the end of the year.

Toddler energy
@richards9750 Says:
Richardo leaving McLaren was not his own choice. Also, Lando was not faultless either. He drove an excellent race but was not faultless.
@colofsco1 Says:
Max is making a mole into a mountain. He can simply say no to any "community service" I think this is more to do with the stress of the car not performing.
@stevec6232 Says:
Norris almost spanked the car twice. Could have lost it.
@hawkesworth1712 Says:
Replacing arguably the most popular F1 driver in decades is a PR nightmare for Redbull. They should be paying for a world class psychoanalyst to get into Danny's head because he still has all the talent to win races but his head isn't there.

How boring f1 is going to be not without Daniel

Vettel used to swear a lot! Multi-lingually! Over the radio and during interviews. Initially the interviewers on ITV - the free-to-air channel it used to be on back then - would apologise for his language, even though I don't think he ever dropped an F bomb in an interview. Nonnative speakers seem to learn swearwords early on. When I learned German, French, Welsh and even Latin in high school, I was a pretty fluent swearer 😂 Ironically, I'm now learning Dutch and haven't yet learned a single swearword. When Yuki first came along, the journalists were encouraging him to swear! It was like hearing an older sibling trying to get a kid brother into trouble. He's had to learn to "clean up" his vocabulary in interviews in particular. What happens with second (third, etc) languages is that you hear swearing and pick it up, but you don't fully realise how offensive or not a given word is. Back when I was a little one, in primary school, I picked up the F word from a classmate - it was definitely _not_ something said at home. I repeated it at home after school one day (I would have been between 4-7). My mother honestly washed my mouth out with soap! It took till she passed away when I was in my mid 40s that I felt able to say it out loud! (She was never able to wear shiny patent leather shoes for a similar reason, but that's something you'll need to talk to someone in their 90s to understand!) Similarly, "bloody" (which is also an adjective describing a lot of blood) used to be a lot more offensive when I was a kid than it was by the time I left school at 17, 42 years ago next January (anniversary of me leaving school. Today's my actual birthday!) This can act to confuse matters. The FIA should have just told Max to apologise for using a word inappropriate to the setting and left it at that. I'm sure he wasn't setting out to offend the global audience! If he leaves F1 because of this, the FIA needs to be replaced by an organisation with more common sense. Just like the end of FISA, there comes a time when a governing body gets too big for its britches. The hypocrisy of having races in countries with abysmal human rights records and not allowing any driver to make a bad judgement call in their nonnative language is ridiculous. I apply this to any driver whose native language is different from the one they're speaking in.

Where would he go NASCAR highest paid driver makes 16 million a year. Max made 55 million in 2024 in F1.

Daniel should come back to Australia run in V8 Supercars GT series have a break do promotions with Redbull... Nascar Wildcards could be option...
@EngiocGames Says:
Quite frankly I think F1 should stop being so stupid. I'm not a Max fan, but I think he's right to be upset at this. F1 want to keep sticking more and more microphones in front of drivers, and then can't handle it when they swear like many people would when things aren't going well. They are humans not robots, they have emotions, they should be allowed to express it, and if people can't handle a bit of bad language that's their problem. F1 drivers are robotic enough already, stop trying to make them even more robotic and emotionless.
@davewhittles Says:
they are not in school dont swear you get detention its ludicrous
@DuaneElverum Says:
Is it just me? Does ANYONE really want to hear from the drivers at the pressers except journos who need to find an angle and maybe a quote? It's usually canned platitutes and drivel from drivers who don't want to be there. Good for Max. And I'm a Lewis fan.
@naga2015kk Says:
STOP giving false hope for Daniel HAHAHAHAAA
@anngo4140 Says:
I don't think Max is in the wrong here. Everyone in who's in the sport and knows the sport will understand. The FIA shouldn't lean too much into this. As mechanical and technical as F1 is, we want the drivers to be just as organic and authentic.
@InterestedAmerican Says:
The FIA are idiots. Why is Guthar Steiner so popular? His language and his willingness not to sugar coat a situation. Now the FIA wants that to end? They'll destroy the popularity that F1 has gained. Interest will drop quickly if the only thing you get are canned bland answers to questions. It's pissing off both the drivers and the fans. F1 has become the goose that lays gold eggs, but for whatever reason the FIA suddenly has developed a taste for poultry.
@PawesomeCatVideo Says:
Hi - Vis vests should be compulsory where there are forklifts operating. Just saying.

MAX IS MY LEAST FAVOURITE DRIVER AS HE'S A NARCISSISTIC CHILD WHO CANT GROW UP.
@insAneTunA Says:
What an absurd comment to make that it doesn't mean that much in the bigger picture to have freedom of expression. You should go flush your mouth with water an soap. The FIA cares more about a swearword than they care about basic human rights in some of the countries where they have their events. And you journalists are all keeping your mouths shut, and you are all collecting your paycheck as if everything is just fine. Pure hypocrisy and very disgusting. Shame on you !!!

@markhill9275 Says:
Max is very committed to his relationship, his "daughter", and he is absolutely fed up with all the lies, bullshit and vitriol that surrounds Redbullshit and the FIA, not to mention the toxic yanks that own F1. He has achieved so much in his career, he is not going to win another WDC with Redbullshit, and he may well pull the pin ala Rosberg.
@AandKs Says:
The rule are set by the FIA. Not swearing on TV is a responsible rule. If Max disagrees, than he has a decision to make.
@Leveetsta Says:
Red Bull need a better 2nd driver who can earn more points. Perez has undoubtedly lost RB the championship. Daniel’s team effort for the bonus point says a driver of his experience should take Perez’s seat for the rest of the season. If he doesn’t cut it there, Tsunoda should get the promotion for 2025. Daniel definitely deserves the 2nd chance in the RB ourfit

@nieko3038 Says:
F1 need to focus on racing. Max said they getting soft and I agree. They need to stop trying to ‘educate’ The fact people call you rude when you mention things like that says what is wrong with the sport and it’s fans. Happy he speaks his mind.
@bjrnchrstn Says:
It means nothing in the bigger picture??? It means EVERYTHING! He stands for what he believes in and isn’t just gonna lie down and roll over. Fia are a bunch of hypocrites who don’t care about human rights when it comes to money and racing in piss poor countries like Qatar, Saoudi etc. but OHH MY LORD… someone used the f word. Let’s get out the pitchforks!
@mgers75 Says:
I saw zero indication that Max is about to take his ball and go home? He's just in his feeling cause of the stupid FIA swearing stuff and Mclaren kicking their ass atm
