This just goes to prove that the FIA president in charge is such a stupid idiot himself that he can't handle people using language like that he better quit his job .
@tomcleave2622 Says:
It show they don’t understand English ,if they don’t even know the language,it what we do instead of yelling! A lot fo totally stupidly from F1
@sachmostaub1990 Says:
You can’t have swearing on the tv. It’s not necessary. What other drivers use the fuck word? The other drivers can get their point across with out using the fuck word. There are people and children that find it offensive. I use the fuck word but I don’t talk about the fucking bananas in the grocery store when there are people there that maybe offended.
The fia needs to draw a line in the sand. If you swear it’s a 100,000 euro fine. The swearing will stop. The broadcast needs to edit the comments as well. They can bleep the nasties.
@mikebayliss7812 Says:
NO it’s sport……!!!!!! 🧐
@MoogerTuber Says:
Younger listeners get exposed to tons more swearing at school and with their friend. This is retarded, FIA.
@TheDerekB13 Says:
What example do they give to children? Yeah punish him... they shouldnt be swearing at all... They are paid professionals, they should learn to display self-control. If they cant, then yeah punish them til they learn
@carltontweedle5724 Says:
They want younger viewers so all about the money. Plus the yanks are a bit touchy on swearing.
@safrazahamed6427 Says:
Max cam leave the sport of he wants... no one is stopping him..
Behave properly, or else the door is always open
@B0elli3_33 Says:
FIA is a big joke😂
@jacooosthuizen3593 Says:
Max is a fucking legend!
@servethesongs Says:
All these people in F1 were born millionaires who think they're better than us.. Why we watch rich kids drive when there are probably thousands of much more talented guys who cant afford to do it.. Its a sport for rich fuckers... there I said it
@digitaIgorilla Says:
If you don't want to hear a driver swearing whilst racing, don't publish the team radio. If you don't want to hear them swear outside the car, don't film them inside the pre- podium driver's room. If you want the 'colour', deal with it.
@neil27pearson Says:
Some crazy Arab Guy trying to impose his daft Muslim beliefs of the Western World. We see way to much of this these days.
@user-zz2iz7sp3g-elfoor Says:
Having races in countries that violate human rights dayly..is oke..brings cash..but saying your car is fucked...not done..
FIA becomes the laugh of the world..
@Wishful-Thinking Says:
Verstappen didn’t get punished for swearing in the heat of the moment whilst driving the car he got punished for swearing during an FIA press conference when he wasn’t under the pressure of the actual race. Swearing during the heat of the race fair enough it can happen but during a press conference it just shows unprofessional conduct. If Verstappen thinks it’s being a man to swear in the latter situation then he should be man enough to accept his punishment.
@lordmaximus Says:
This is ridiculous
@smith5312 Says:
So F1 is worried bout kids hearing an odd bad word and then go on an use the bad words themselves, why does F1 not worry about the same kids watching cars do 300klm around the track and not worry about the kids trying the same on the road when older ? 🤷🏻♂️
@sonicfeathers691 Says:
As youngsters look up to these drivers and wish the opportunity to emulate them, YES!, FIA should manage cursing by them.
Thats part of the rules of racing - full stop. MV has always shown a lack of maturity on and off track (Ocon incident). This is no different, hes being the petulant little boy his father (onus is his) brought him up to be. Play by the rules or get out. Any adult that can't control their emotions and speech has not progressed from childhood and lacks education or lacks vocabulary to express themselves without swearing. The fact that he is an outstandingly fast driver has nothing to do with this argument. Duels & cowhands killing each other over small grievances disappeared because society progressed beyond base crass behavior.
Follow the rules or get out.
@garrithjoynt3018 Says:
The FIA agenda: apease the main sponsors or else!? We can not have a cold drinks company beating the big boys so badly now, can we? The FIA leadership is ruining the respect we had for F1.
@johnwilliams7830 Says:
Just following in his father footsteps
@MrSimonyong Says:
When your kids show tantrums in public, is it appropriate for us to slap him in public too..!!!
The brainless media should not tell Max to mine his language in the conference..!!
He should tell Max, offline instead..!!!
Thanks Max Verstappen for being Honest & yourself...!!
BTW what is the big deal with "FCUK" who doesn't..!!!
It's many times better then FIA SCREWING THE WORLD AUDIENCES UP WITH A MANIPULATING RACE IN ABU DHABI 2021..
@y_fam_goeglyd Says:
Vettel used to swear in interviews and on the radio. A lot. It's actually very common with people who have English as a second (third, fourth...) language. I've been studying linguistics for a long time, and I have heard (especially Germanic peoples) many of them swear as part of their conversation. I assume that oftentimes they don't realise when a particular word is considered to be more offensive than they thought it was.
Instead of bleeping - assuming they want the audience to presume that no one swears - they they should just cut the word out. It would - should - be less obvious what they are saying.
@gnarleypunkroker5 Says:
this is pussy bullshit if f1 wants to ban swearing. gtfo you babies.
@RicardoSicks Says:
MBS is full of BS
@skepays Says:
Obligatory: FUCK
@Leedsunited.robson Says:
Fuck the FIA
@user-yt7jb7kk1i Says:
fia is a joke, swearing? Criticize there inept safety at Sizuka drivers get a fine. FIA referencing rap crowd as undesirable 👍. FIA has a funny set of values.
@eleycki Says:
It’s fing ridiculous, everyone swears all the fing time. Who cares? They don’t have to broadcast it!
Ben Sulayem has far more he should be thinking about frankly!
@blueguy12345 Says:
The FIA should start by punishing sexist and racist comments.
The FIA president would be the first one in trouble.
@CarolineEmanuel-g1o Says:
O for goodness sake everyone swears why don’t they delay for 30seconds if it’s such a big deal
@vvolfee Says:
FIA can get bent , perfect solution remove press conferences. Fans are always on the side of the drivers/constructors, it’s why we watch the sport. we aren’t paying our hard earned money to watch people in suits fumble the sport.
@brentmcknight5344 Says:
The fact that the FIA are using the young watching as a reason to ban swearing shows how out of touch with the public they are. I would say the majority of F1’s older viewers would be more offended by the language then the young viewers would be.
@brentmcknight5344 Says:
The FIA need to get in touch with reality. Very few people care about swearing these days. Swearing is normal speech these days.
@ahsu0208 Says:
this is so dumb. just just don’t broadcast the team radios.
@justlookingaround9834 Says:
Fucking ridiculous.
@chriswilson3989 Says:
Carry in as normal but get rid of Crashtappen once and for all 😊😊😊😊😊
@nigelleyland166 Says:
Swearing, two issues, team radio and interviews. If team radio, F1 broadcasts it, so their fault, period. If interviews, the simple answer is drivers say nothing during interviews to prevent sanctions.
@davidd6130 Says:
They go to Shith*l* countries with appalling human rights (whiuch by the way Journalists just dont cover), entertain all kind of human dross as VIIPS,sportswash for anyone entity with cash and they want to sanction drivers views? FFs?
@spilot1016 Says:
Fuck FIA
@ttronan Says:
When there are too many races that you forget where you are. Thank you for adding that clip. Too many races are hard for everyone involved in the sport but as an audience I don’t mind because there is something to look forward to. Maybe not more races than we already have.
@ttronan Says:

@TyresePeoples Says:
banning swearing in the car is so stupid. the broadcasters literally CHOOSE which messages to broadcast. just don’t choose the ones with swearing in it. it’s extremely simple. all athletes swear most athletes just don’t have a mic in front of them the entire time they’re doing their job
@manosmagram8013 Says:
😂😂😂 this ben guy is hilarious!😂😂😂 Teach adult people how to behave 😂😂😂😂 is this guy ok?😂😂.. stop trying to put duck tape in ppl mouth mr benny and instead get rib of all this mics you have put around them
@AllGuitarSucks Says:
Its not Disneyland for fxxk sake. Though I would like to see a swear jar (1 dollar) making a competition on who swears the most.
@colindingle687 Says:
In a high pressure environment it's not unheard of but with this guy he's losing his grip because he absolutely can't handle losing and it won't be long before he's running cars off the track again if it hasn't started already 😅
@colofsco1 Says:
I think MBS is saying that because they're in a Muslim country. In the drivers briefing, MBS could of said just for this weekend, please tone down the swearing until you get back to the western world; with a wink and a smile.
@tmole4060 Says:
My god getting shit each week
James hunt would be turning
@ctibpo991 Says:
Absolutely punish it. Everyone in the family should be able to enjoy F1 "live" - carcams included. Drivers are extremely well paid to represent their team brand to the media. Most would actually drive for free. Big bucks for big PR. They know they are in the public eye. Would you want a dentist that swears a lot? The whole teams are role models while in the paddock. Team fines! Drivers get a 1 race ban. And reserve drivers suddenly become 10X more important! haha Bonus: They could stop delaying team radio messages by 5 seconds. We always hear Box Box after the driver has entered the pit lane or that a car is 2 secs behind just as it's passing.
