its been few weeks now and I'm still ini disbelief, I live somewhat close to where that happened and my uncle's friend was there and told him what happened almost instantly, and he passed the news to me before any public news broke out. I was in shock and I didn't believe it but HMS later confirmed it. Its still super hard and I think about it every day

Lovely tribute guys i have to say thou Chris is absolutely right in highlighting what the drivers and co drivers put on the line i think team bosses / manufacturers are all to quick to forget what these incredible world class drivers risk to promote their products and also all to quick to pounce when drivers make mistakes !! i understand that chris will be joining hyundai i couldnt think of anyone more deservedly to do so and to be irish is a fitting tribute to craig ive cried many times at the tragic loss of craig and it seemed rallying would never be the same without him but i see a silver lining with chris joining hyundai a fellow irishman a close friend of craigs to continue and drive not only for himself but for craig and of course all of his fans world wide i will as thousands of others welcome you back chris and thankyou for your lovely tribute !!

Rally Finland 2016, 2021 and Rally Sweden 2023 will forever be some of my favorite rallies, the commitment the guys had especially Craig was something else. In Finland 21 i hiked through the forest into Oittila which was ran in the dark to film this tricky jump, nobody really jumped that much until Craig just went for it flying on the rev limiter and took the rally lead after that stage.

Great video remembering Craig & really nice to hear from Kris with his memories of Craig. I was lucky to meet Craig several times at various rallies mostly here in Northern Ireland. One moment I’ll remember, which I caught on camera, was on the podium of the 2015 Circuit of Ireland which he won. As the celebrations were going on Craig looked up to the sky as if to share the moment with Jaffa. Craig will be sorely missed but he’ll never be forgotten. We should feel privileged that we were lucky to witness his brilliance.

CB#42...Never won a WRC championship, but pushed every champion to better his best. So charismatic & an ambassador to the sport of rallying. The one rally driver that took the sport seriously, gave his all & was never scared to speak how he felt. A replica to Jari Lavtala: Enjoyed himself & always entertaining when rallying...Rally world has been dented...R.I.P CB#42...🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

It breaks my heart to think we will never see Craig being interviewed again at the end of a stage.. the Passion, the emotion, the tears, that smile.. well Craig I hope you forever will be smiling down from god's heavenly podium, because it's our turn now to shed a tear for our all time favourite wrc legend.. REST IN PEACE & THANK YOU 💔😢

I got a photo with craig way back in 2018 when he did the historic rally in the metro 6r4. what a genuine man and what a hero to myself and plenty more in motorsport. I’ll certainly miss craig wether it was him having the craic on interviews and making everyone laugh or him coming home to compete in a rally in Ireland may he rally in peace and he’s certainly not a man well every forget #CB42❤️🇮🇪
@cathalkeane964 Says:
Craig gave me my first proper spin in a rally car back in 2012 when he was testing a car. Something I’ll cherish forever

@DaniMacYo Says:
Very sad what’s happened. Not many are covering it. Nice of you guys to pay tribute. 🙏
@beng9452 Says:
At Rally GB 2019 I placed my GoPro on a hay bale at the final stage, Craig clipped the hay bale which sent my go pro flying on to the stage, which is some footage I can’t get enough of! a nice piece of his front wing which I’ve kept as a souvenir was left laying next to my go pro… it’s being kept safe hoping one day Rally GB would return and hopefully have a chance for Craig to sign it. It’s a tragedy which has really hit us fans for 6! Being Welsh and proud of having a Welsh driver in Elfyn being at the top of the sport, but Craig was the one who I’d always step forward and give him the ‘rally arm’ and cheer on 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇮🇪 R.I.P Craig we all loved you, hope your flat to the square right up there with Jaffa!
@ctf1537 Says:
Very Nice Words Kris. For rallying Craig was the one who connected the generations of rallying together, if it wasn't for him with the seamless transition from a club rally to wrc event in the matter of days raised the level and interest in rallying as a whole. Rallying is alot more than WRC, to many its a way of life. Like Kris said to be able to test your own ability on closed public roads, its something to relish no matter what level you are at. RIP Craig

Nice of you people to pay tribute to him. Us irish never get much representation in motorsports. This one really hurts.. My thoughts are with his family and friends. I am glad I got to see his smile live in Sweden when he finished 2nd❤
