First of all, the biggest problem in this comparison is F1 cars are substantially larger than these GT cars and the visibility is much worse so its not easy to avoid contact. Also, lets not forget the cultural aspect. Japanese are inherently more polite(unless your name is Yuki Tsunoda) 😂

Racing rules should be pretty easy to follow it seams. If someone is alongside you, you have to leave space at the exit of the turn. Quite easy, no? According to current F1 rules the driver on the inside could have used all the track width as he was ahead at the apex, which is absurd!
