Russell has a really bad habit of losing it whenever there's the slightest breeze of pressure put on him. 😂😂😂
@nawles1 Says:
Alonso penalty was utter tosh
@stuartorr8192 Says:
Sainz is going to beat leclerc, Russel will spanking Hamilton and Ferrari are going to end up with two losers … 😂
@sz5876 Says:
Guys, please slow down, Alex that means you lol. Listening to the podcast version I have to slow it down to 82% speed to have it sound like normal speech. I'm in my 40's and don't understand the rush.
@LittleBigMediaCo Says:
Mercedes all conquering previous rules generation car was designed and build under Ross Brawn's leadership. Toto inherited a winning car philosophy that needed nothing more than annual updates and logical development to the end of it's rules lifecycle ... and Red Bull closed down that gap year by year until beating Mercedes in the final year anyway. We are now in the 3rd year and already 4th major redesign of the Mercedes under the current rules era ... the first car that Toto had been responsible for since inception ... and still Mercedes are nowhere. Calls for Toto's head are justified. All this has proved that he doesn't have what it takes, & that he was given too much credit previously for what was essentially Ross Brawns direction and leadership.

Good reviews. Expected opinion on Russell crash. British bias blaming Alonso instead of pointing out the inconsistency in penalties and Russell's mistakes.

Good you gave a send off for Matt

What the f is going on in the background of that dude's audio Jesus that is just so distracting..... I realize I didn't need to hear this anymore
@nizammazlan8613 Says:
If Sainz wins a race, Russell will be DNF.
@Uno.Numero Says:
The trick Sainz played on everyone is going through turns 9 & 10 marginally slowly and only gliding through there, that's how he managed to eek out the performance of his tires and none did that which was a masterclass by Sainz. I was glued to differential times which are live these days (kudos to F1) and I could see he was giving up close to 2ths through that 9 & 10 sections and making it up from there on. He did that every lap, so much so that I could tell which part of lap Sainz was on just by staying glued to his live times. Masterclass.
@nfineon Says:
I would take Leclerc + Sainz over Hammy + Leclerc, use the extra money I'd have to pay hamilton and put it towards the car... With the right car even a midfield racer can win races, in the wrong car even an 8 time world champion wont win a race... Invest in younger talent, there is an age penalty that applies to all athletes and Hamilton is on the wrong end of that curve.

Matt you will be missed you legend
@Lexington125 Says:
Nasty from Alonso , has history , lucky Russell , testament to the 2024 cars you can walk away . When I started watching in 75 this would have been a sobering incident. Well done Sainz phenomenal today and Tsunoda making them so called experts look a bit silly again.
@321-Gone Says:
3:20 - and the downer has spoken. Carlos should go home. RBR. Sorry Checo.
@user-ie5ke3uj6d Says:
DNF Max! Result? The most boring race in the last two years…
@mikeyk632 Says:
I figured this out mid race , real reason Ric was brought in must have been connected to getting visa cash app on board, they wouldn't have with 2 rookies/no known face , absolutely nothing to do with performance all business
@philanimagagula5458 Says:
The problem with Merc isn't that it's going wrong it's why is it going wrong they are literally like a deer caught in headlights
@Axle0Bullitt019 Says:
This Hypothetical of what if Max stayed out with the break issue is a bit of a pointless discussion as the entire brake rotor blew up while Max was at pit entry. Don't recall brake changes allowed in F1 and it would have been down right irresponsible to allow that car to run around with only three brakes.
@mrbungle3310 Says:
Shame to see matt going...also bs penalty for fernando
@AJ-zy9jf Says:
Love the braindead sociopathic take that Albon should of took Logan's car lmfao In the end he didn't end up scoring points and got out drove by both Haas drivers. You've embarrassed your second driver and gained nothing. This is why most of these takes are by people that have never ran anything with employees. Hey there's another journalist that's better than you and logically I think we should put them ahead of you. Hey no hard feelings.
@mrscanlan.5016 Says:
THAT WAS SO SO BORING Till george Russell CRASHE LIKE A RIGHT MUPPET LOO, heheheeheheheheeheheheheehhe, made me laugh so much, what a welk
@pascalplastina9596 Says:
Happy for Carlos, he deserved it today. As a Sauber fan, i am not happy at the moment. They got to sort those pitstop issues. Potential points were lost today
@DavidLimofLimReport Says:
Brutal one on Matt lol
@ottoyu101 Says:
Take care Matt

Watched 5 minutes and that was that was 4min 59 seconds to much Rip f1.
@roberthak3695 Says:
J. Herbert was steward in Australia. Alonso and him arent friends to say the least (Herbert also works fro Sky and is a big Merc/Ham/Russell fan). This imo is disgraceful behavior from Herbert, obviously he was the determinant factor for the very harsh and totally unjustified penalty.
@hannieouwerkerk3148 Says:
max had a dnf and still it was a boring race whahahahhahahah
@bravojohnny3199 Says:
Team orders for Norris?? Jump start last time out!! Disgraceful.
@henkormel5610 Says:
Without Georges crash nobody had looked at the data from Alonso. So stating to ignore the crash is rubbish. On the basis of the crash Alonso was investigated. George just got it wrong and was to eager to line it up in turn 9-10.
@Crismans843 Says:
Still wasn’t a good race.

'Catching up with an old chum from school'...My god boy did you go to Eton?
@mattroyce Says:
Wishful thinking most likely....but imagine Carlos Sainz winning the 2024 drivers title LMAOOOO
@nicholasriley3569 Says:
Despite the distance and the price Melbourne seems like one of the best race venues for fans.
@fillusrahim-xy9ib Says:
Mercedes shouldn't fire Mike Elliott but trying work together with James Allison. 2 heads better than 1 ☝️
@luyolomnyani1639 Says:
Lewis made a brilliant move for 2025
@wesselgreven6570 Says:
Sainz should keep an eye on his phone, RedBull might call him…
@proesterchen Says:
Mercedes seem to have reverted to their mean, finding themselves in about the same position they've spent many of the past 25 years in when they didn't dominate the field thanks to a gimmick and later an incredible PU advantage prolonged by limits put on the other team's ability to compete-
@kyleharrison713 Says:
Alonso did the same thing he did to Lewis last year, he deserved the penalty, simple as that.
@robertvanzant2653 Says:
Went back to bed when Max broke down .
@TaisinViper Says:
Sainz is padding his resume for a good seat when the season is done
@kyleharrison713 Says:
Max said the break grabbed and didn't let go like a hand brake which lead to heat going ever up and failing completely. Have to analyze why it locked up on the rear right only.
@notorious_nrsa Says:
George didn't crash on his own. George haters can go choke on rice🤡
