The Monaco GP is back - but after recent criticism on the track, can the classic race level the playing field for the F1 2023 grid? Will we see the technical upgrades we didn't see in Imola? And is there any logic to the rumours floating around behind Hamilton and Ferrari? Martyn Lee chats with Jake Boxall-Legge and Matt Kew about all these topics and more. 0:00 Monaco Upgrades 2:12 Tech to Look Out For 4:27 Does Monaco Nullify Red Bull? 6:29 Using Monaco as an Advantage 9:22 McLaren's Hope 11:48 Hamilton / Ferrari Rumours #f1 #monaco #formula1 FOLLOW us online: Website: https://www.autosport.com/ Facebook: http://facebook.com/AUTOSPORT Twitter: https://twitter.com/autosport Instagram: http://instagram.com/autosport Thanks for watching - please like, share and comment, and subscribe!

Did anyone catch the prerace segment where the drove an old blue convertible around the track with a commentator and a model/actress? What year and make of car was that?
@HV71851 Says:
Why would Hamilton want to go to Ferrari, when their car is not better than Mercedes?
@ronaldosbrother7150 Says:
From a racing perspective this is the worst race on the F1 calendar. Its just a case of follow the leader which is not what racing is all about. I get the nostalgia of this race, but if it were up to me, I'd take it off the calendar.

Sunday , Monaco grand Prix thunderstorm maybe a wet race , so a chance of a upset win. If the rain happens.for me the qualifications and practice is my highlights of Monaco grand Prix .the build up the interview process the parties the big boats ,the celebrities who are there.the race Start and first pit stop , to see who will gamble

Lulu has already made so much money, why would he want to push for ridiculous salaries when the only reason why he is still racing is because he loves the thrill of F1 racing.

hoping to see BrrrakeF1 back on the channel
@turbo_brian Says:
The unfortunate thing for merc is that we are expecting them to increase the wheelbase length so that will actually hurt them in monaco. Hopefully the feel is better than the negatives of less rotation.
@shaunclarke2408 Says:
Alonso or Leclerc for Pole
@carisi2k11 Says:
I'm hearing and reading a lot of wishful thinking in this video and the comments.
@Meine.Postma Says:
People said the same when Hamilton switched from McLaren to Mercedes
@stevemcphail3586 Says:
Alonso back to Ferrari is more logical if only for 2 years, gets the absolute best out of any car he drives, doesn’t crash and will set Ferrari on the right direction for the future,
@flatdrive7038 Says:
Worst GP weekend of the year! I skip it most years.
@Eagleracer38x Says:
I wonder how much longer F1 cars will be able to drive at Monaco, with how much longer and heavier the cars are getting... Forget the money stuff they are dealing with now.
@mauricerose3082 Says:
...if they raced in cars from the 1950's would Monaco be more exciting...?
@pauljaworski9386 Says:
When Lewis went to Mercedes everyone said he was crazy. We all know how that one turned out. REmember, around the time of the 1st race this year Toto said something like if Lewis wants to win #8 he may have to leave.

@SBAK4444 Says:
Alonso win possible! Yes definately possible, and, yes, probably his best chance of the season (just my humble view)
@ryanvogel2489 Says:
why does this guy look like rufus rice
@shmazy86 Says:
I think at some point in the season both Redbulls will have issues in the race. Do to grid penalties from changing parts on the grid or have issues in qualifying a failure during the race or pitstop issue or damaged vehicle and that will give Alonso a chance to win. But as for an outright win with no problems on Redbulls Monaco might just be his best chance.
@shmazy86 Says:
I like how a lead change at Monaco is considered "drama"
@marshallgreen7815 Says:
Love the clean straightforward commentating. No silly headlines.
@JuanRodriguez-km9hl Says:
Hey guys that Mercedes partnership is getting boring Would love to see Lewis in Red!!!
@pierremartin9048 Says:
A price check is likely what might have have happened, but is Mr. Hamilton to become a long term ambassador of the brand post retirement. Makes no sense to me to switch, his agent again went to get a value check.
@philliptiestopl1511 Says:
LEWIS WON'T GO TO FERRARI ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
