These guys have no idea..don't understand difference in outlap and slow lap. Do your homework guys.
@srthebox4946 Says:
Russell doin allat only to be p3 by turn 2
@FrancisFjordCupola Says:
Think Perez should drive into the rear of Russell and then complain about impeding and driving slow.
@robertcras8151 Says:
Why didn't the stewards take into effect that Alonso in front of Max was going slower and Max being on a hot lap wants to keep the gap. The delta thing is nonsens since max swapped places with Alonso and needed to slow down.
Besides that, on a warmup lap you stay on the race line not to pick up any dirt.
Can't have anything to do that FIA is pro-British and one of the stewards is British as well??
@shaddy7787 Says:
George is the most protected driver on the grid. As soon as he steps in the stewards office he gets his way every single time. The most entitled driver there is
@kneiterundweiter8426 Says:
It wasn’t a penalty in the first place. At the end of a slow round with more slow riders like Alonso in front? These analysts are just a little bit chauvinistic. So the word champion is penalised for slow driving, funny in itself but why bother. Who ended not onto the podium? Next!
@bangkokstallion Says:
Herbert still a steward?
@richardashton5015 Says:
Doesn't matter max schooled him and won the race. George boy didn't even get on the podium....
@jacobusstefanuspotgieter1332 Says:
What George did Max must now do at qualifying in the future.....
@GirishRughoobur Says:
George got karma at the first corner itself.
@PeterPost-w8m Says:
You should have heard some of the other drivers about Russell and how he defended the grid penalty of Max. He has lost all respect in the paddock.
@dannyvdmoo Says:
russel feeded by mercedes...and he has it behind the elbow
@Eenvan Says:
KARMA
@alxbolt6225 Says:
As if we didn't need more proof that the FIA is about as consistant in their judgement as an alcoholic who owns a bar.
@mischavanasperen3063 Says:
Max is unstoppable.
But it's definitely cute to see them keep trying anyway! 😂
@Conservator. Says:
The stewards stated that Max was on a in-lap while he clearly was on a out-lap. Testament of that is his board radio with GP throughout the lap regarding the tyre temperature but above all that he drove his fast lap after the ‘incident’.
Also George was on an out-lap too. I’ve not seen a penalty for anything else than a fast lap.
@NorthWolfe Says:
From an overhyped travelling circus to a disgraceful smelly shite formula, what a pathetic excuse for a sport F1 has become. I no longer watch any races now, I will even stop watching the highlights. As a person who has raced all his life and is still racing in GTs, I no longer have time for this bleached and sanitised BS, which is so far from real racing.
I am not a Verstappen fan, not even close. However, it is now obvious that F1, the organization, is persecuting him.
PS: I've raced in everything, aside from Formulas, since I am too big and too wide to fit in the ridiculous "jockey-sized" cockpits. I did try a couple of Formula Ford races but found it hard to shift.
@celltech9319 Says:
They are picky for Max ,only they are like mercedes or mclaren to be a winner, because Honda is nothing on the market of selling cars. Politics and money. Don't worry Max ,you will be champion of this year! Fu..em all. They are afraid of you.
@jstambo478 Says:
The penalty doesn't have any real justification. It only opens a can of worms because now everyone is encouraged to just accelerate at the back of someone. They were both on prep laps to act like Max as on a cooldown is crazy
@ayelcaleb9644 Says:
This is why fans notice british bias. If max makes a mistake, the bloke all call out for blood. But, if max is treated unfairly, not would call out the fia for unfair treatment.
@joshy6270 Says:
Hey look more British bias, what a joke
@ruudkooijman819 Says:
The penalty is ridiculous. Both Max and Russel were on a warm up lap. Nobody wants to leave the raceline two corners before starting their fast lap. Max couldn't go faster because he had to slow foe Alonso. It's just proof the FIA punishes Max whenever they can, even if it doesn't matter for the championship. Is it Brundle again?
@miabartels1043 Says:
There was no reason for a penalty for Max but Russel the cry baby wants back his pole position!!! What is the FIA doing more corruption I suppose.
@thangkhopaosingson8624 Says:
What a joke,,, Penalty....
@elsbells4841 Says:
John and Steward: why is no one mentioning the reason for Max’ braking?
@whateverrrrrr123 Says:
He Should start from the pit
@markboardman100 Says:
Just change the sports name to British F1. Pathetic biased BS. Hello NASCAR.
@doemijmaarfriet Says:
Max said it well: There was nowhere to go, I didnt want to screw the cars upfront by complaining if their speed breaking. But clearly George didnt wanted to do the proper braking, rather screw Max over. Also the stewards not handing penalties upfront to Max with Alonso tells you all you need to know about british bias stewards. Curious how much love the chairmen of the drivers is going to get for this gentlemens behavior.
@nicop.2312 Says:
Another chance for the FIA to nail Verstappen. Everybody was in a slow lap, but Russell needed to cry again. He has to learn to look forwards and not complain about everything. Give Russell a penalty for crying all the time. This guy is really one big complain, while Verstappen had Alonso in front of him.
@Sean22ei Says:
Don’t understand why drivers are allowed to drive so slowly creating this problem in the first place , they should all have a delta time to get back to the pits.
@BigLebowski1337 Says:
Lord Russell is an entitled little brat… nuff said.
@brmh1667 Says:
Doubtless as ever, the mature and sporting Verstappen fully accepts and respects the grid penalty as he always takes responsibility for his own behaviour. It's never anybody else's fault. He is too experienced and talented for that.
To be a great at any sport you must first be a great sportsman. Verstappen falls at the first hurdle. Will he, or his fans, ever grow up?
BTW, strange how the car suddenly improved. Almost like it was before Miami. I wonder why?
@junyjaxkson7866 Says:
Fia is discusting!!
@AnthonyFord-ef5gz Says:
Perhaps that’s the only way that George Russell can be our number one on the grid by complaining to get Max moved. He doesn’t deserve number one on the grid.
@Kremergarage Says:
Max deveria se aposentar e deixar as ladies disputarem um campeonato de frouxos
@ray-ew7tp Says:
Is it racing anymore, Rules Rules Rules. Too Hot, Too Wet , Too windy. Going too fast,Too Slow .It’s a JOKE. Been a dedicated fan since 1967 and now I just don’t care.
@mikewallace1723 Says:
All Max supporters missing the point? He drove below the stated minimum speed limit. And caused an issue.
Perhaps if he had been above the minimum this would’ve been looked at differently.
Get over it. He’s won the drivers championship. Maybe he needs to drive within the rules.
@brilliantbeaches5389 Says:
Russel is just a rich spoiled British brat and that's why he will never be loved by anyone except the English 😂
@annabee75 Says:
British bias
@MrBladexxl Says:
Needed hours to get something fixes
@MrBladexxl Says:
Stewards fixing races so obvious, corrupting f1
@z4v3k Says:
There's clearly an agenda from the Brits to punish Max whenever they can.
@Milkydrummer Says:
All the “experts” in the comments who know absolutely nothing… 😂🙄
@hermanbloemhof8518 Says:
It,s time the stewards rules were changed. At least that there is only 1 steward from the same country in that team. There are more than 4 stewards from Great Britain alone due to teams that come from that country. And there have been stewards in the current team who have been anti Max verstappen for quite some time. A child can see this. An impartial steward brings justice and the right decisions to such a team. So not the current stewards. This is so obvious that we can talk about corruption. They measure with 2 sizes. !!! Now again with a driver who has nowhere to go and is not in aqualifying lap, being penalizied because one George Russel, hwo could see the upcoming corners very well, drives into Max,s his car like an idiot. This is pure incitement to punish someone else. As we have seen before from Russel. But oh, keep this. The bag of tricks is only now really opening upfor Max, and of course foe other drivers too. Thanks to the FIA.
@germyldon Says:
In the future teams will have to ask their competitors can they use the track so as not to upset them because they don't have the circuit to themselves
@Basil-Fawlty Says:
So Alonso slows down Verstappen.... thus impeding Russell....... maFIA decision: Verstappen gets blamed.....
@vonPelger Says:
Shocking: FIA penalized Verstappen with a 10 place grid drop for next GP because a viewer didn't find his car in the parking lot. This penalties are a joke... they went crazy from Mexico on
@greetdekeizer4369 Says:
Dangerous precedent.
@philspencelayh5464 Says:
Max is a champion in the Schumacher mould. I remember in Monaco when Schumacher had set a provisional pole and didn't want didn't want anyone to beat him so parked the car on the circuit, this wasn't quite that but nearly worked for him. I agree that the sprint isn't a proper GP its a waste of time and money and it should be got rid of after this season completely.
