Peugeot have a unique aside to this, they've won the Indy 500 3 times(1913,16,&19), Le Mans 3 times(1992,1993,& 2009), & the WRC 5(1985,86,2000,01,& 02) times! Not to mention both the Dakar Rally & Monte Carlo Rally!

Great piece; it's nice to see these two historic chassis next to each other. I was 12 in 1974; being in the US I watched as many IndyCar (USAC series at the time) races as I could but F1 race telecasts were few and far between here back then.

Real good chance of McLaren winning the 500 and the F1 Championship in the same season again next year.

My grandfather was the go-to bakery for Indy500 drivers in the '60s and '70s. He had a bakery two blocks from the south tunnel entrance. I have pictures of tons of drivers just standing in line or sitting down, drinking coffee, and eating donuts.

The papaya and blue livery looks amazing. I know they are very unsafe by modern standards, but the variation in appearance of these '70s cars really makes them look incredible.

Those cars look so unsafe to drive

1:11 - it is possibly a mistake, it possibly make the lap slower, but that correction is sigma.

I wish F1 cars returned to those simple lines - minus being a metal flame box.
