I'm not saying to fire the guy, I actually really don't want that, but there needs to be legitimate questions about Brandon Hyde after this season. The sole reason this team is falling apart is because of it's cataclysmically bad approach at the plate. They are trying to hit a home run every time they step up to the plate, which is just...so unfathomably stupid, especially for a team that has a majority of good all-around hitters, not just power hitters. The fact that they have not adjusted this yet is crazy alarming and does not look good for Brandon Hyde. This season is over. As Orioles fans, we need to kiss it goodbye, we have absolutely zero shot to do anything in the postseason. Zero. Zip. Nadda...if we even make it. This offense is unwatchable and the fact that they haven't even tried to change anything yet is disturbing. This season is a failure, but the issue is, it's going to get worse. They didn't do anything to remedy the bullpen last year when that was the obvious issue for the team. They were like "oh, we are the seventh ranked bullpen" without actually using their eyes to discern the fact that everyone outside Bautista last year was awful. They won't change anything for next year because "oh, we're fifth in the league in runs," when anybody with eyes and a brain can see that they need to actually try and get hits instead of occasionally getting home runs and lucking into wins. My prediction...they are going to be 15-25 in the first quarter of the season next year and it will be a turning point. If they don't change their approach at the plate, they will have a losing season, Brandon Hyde will get fired and this team's future success will be over. If they change to a more all-around approach...everything will be just fine
