When I was 13 years old I followed him when he was an amateur around the Mullingar scratch cup. He hit a driver off the deck on the 18th and put it to 10 feet. It was the first time I ever saw anyone hit driver off the deck. He went pro shortly after that. I followed him since and always when at a tournament I would look for him and try and walk a few holes with him. What a player and ambassador for the game.
