The greens are more about luck than skill, hard to watch, i think they have gone to far . It`s nice to see one or two with run off but they have to many set up like a dome thank goodness all courses are not like this!!🤕

The USGA is obsessed with protecting par. That manifests itself in greens that are , in my opinion, ridiculous. Remember Shinnicock.

They should start complaining when they put the windmills in
@justinharnick7803 Says:
Hopefully the golf players don't complain and force the USGA to reduce the speed. Literally only time I watch golf is US Open to see the best players excel on the hardest courses.

Is he the arbiter of green speed for the pga tour? Lmao.
@BRDavie Says:
What the hell is borderline? Is he trying to file a suit or something?

That Champion Dwarf Bermuda looks green, but it is short and fast. With dry weather Thursday through Sunday and North Carolina temperatures ranging from 88* to 92* F, this is going to be a very interesting U.S. Open. Having been born in Pinehurst, I know my opinion is biased, but Pinehurst No. 2 is a prime venue to host a major.

Gary Player rang to say that the ball goes too far, making golf too easy, and that they're making courses too hard, making golf too hard. News at 6.

Good. One week a year I love to see the USGA take a difficult golf course and make it harder. I am hoping this week’s winner is at least +5.
