What can we see? More rain.

Can't make the cars lighter by making a b line for becoming an FE-lite spec series. These new regs will be a massive L. WECs ruleset on the otherhand invites innovation and much less restrictive engine rules like F1 used to be attracting many more manufacturers. The fuel will be completely synthetic yet they're still pushing electric. F1 has lost the plot. It's become a fancy spec series.

Onions known, good stuff.

Funny thing is all these huge car companies like Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren so on just could not beat a drink company 😂 who comes beat them all in their own backyard😂😂😂. What the hell is going on?
@Ogole-oye Says:
Miami Lando won not so much because of the Max mistake rather largely because of the safety car. There's a huge difference but it's allowed, in F1 sometimes you need the good fortune to win. As for the engine, I get that they are new to the game, but the fact that they have the benefit of recruiting already experienced people from other teams and retained many from Honda. So it's not something that should be alarming anyone. We just have to wait and see 2026.

Norris would have won anyway, why even mention the bollard.... 🙃

Its ridiculous Colton Hurta couldn't get a license. Indy is much much more competitive than F1, and the cars are much harder to drive.

Albon signed a new Williams contract, he must be paid well.
@riancastermans1607 Says:
They couldn't force them into mistakes for 2 years. So they need loads of luck, which they had in Miami. Max makes mistakes once in2 years, so good luck to the rest.

1kg off the halo is pretty impressive, if it works out. Cutting edge Mechanical Engineering right there !!
@procatprocat9647 Says:
The drivers have more influence on the result this year. Just look at the standings.

IMOLA That's the name. Don't forget it.

Maybe it's just me, but presenting a reduction in halo weight (and presumably strength) at Imola seems strange considering the lethal history of the track. Especially paired with the emphasis on Senna recently ahead of the Netflix series. Perhaps delay that announcement a week or so?
@everettlawson1231 Says:
The 2026 regulations sound like a Frankenstein attempt to do too many things at once.
@LouSassol69er Says:
50kg weight reduction wasn't even good enough and they can't even commit to that... Also giving up on 16 inch tyres is disappointing.

I believe the dirty air is far worse then most people think.

Reasoned commentary by professionals who actually know what they’re talking about. Thanks guys. Subscribing.
@cococalm Says:
The problem F1 has is their limitation in grid slots. This is robbing the young and up and coming drivers as well as teams that could add this diversity to the grid. Elitism has its down sides and F1 is the epitome of this. Further more, drivers are now extending their careers - ( eg. Alonso, Hulkenberg and Hamilton) - as is common place in Indy series - is also putting greater pressure on the youth who are being denied possibilities in the top tier of motor sport. Some of these issues can be resolved in very simple ways which will alleviate some shortfalls but there seems very little desire to address these issues.
@tomcleave2622 Says:
The FIA needs to go, the cars are terrible ( the drivers deserve much better ) the racing is subpar for a while and you’re just used to it. If you like racing Indy Car. There more racing in the last few lap of the last event than F1 has had this year! Good luck and so long!
@kondjanegongo796 Says:
Lando beat Max? Zack should stop snorting pies... Lando cudnt beat Carlos in the same car... Anyone with equal car as Max needs their whole a game and the luck of the universe to beat him
@doctoronishispsychosislab1474 Says:
I wish to see smaller cars like 25 years ago smaller oh and 2 more teams being 24 car grid
@rulifaller8474 Says:
Freds strongest point is his PR. Ferrari have been chasing RB for over a year now, but they have never been able to really put them under pressure. McLaren has had two major updates in the same time and they have really both times got close to RB and even beat them in Miami. The Ferrari drivers have been very lucky not to crash into eachother. And I do not have the impression at all that Leclerc is happy with how things are going operationally. And they have not really been under pressure at all. In 2022 Ferrari made mistakes because they were in a real fight with RB for the title. Since Fred arrived they have not been under pressure because they were simply not good enough to challenge at the top. Let’s wait what happens when they do get close to chasing for a title before heaping all the praise on the changes that Fred has made.

Not to take anything away from Sam, Steph, or Bryn, but I really miss Martyn Lee. He has a great voice for announcing and never came across as reading a script.
