The rule change to stop the top team was done last year. Increase ride height by 15mm. But this time it did not work.

Why does everyone always forget about 2017 & 2018? Which was also the 3rd/4th year into the hybrid era where most would agree Ferrari should have one at least 1 title. Heck Vettell was often leading the title into the summer break which is unheard of right now. Point is FIA/F1 weren't scared to make rule changes throughout that whole period starting in 2015/16 slowly & by 17 we had a title fight. Funny how we're so gimmicky now but people are scared to shake things up, when contrary to popular belief the 2010s were full of changes to dial back merc

So in summary F1 decided to hand the 2024 win over to Red Bull and Max even before the season starts by not changing the rule to prevent one team dominating.
If there is a perfect time to change the rules to prevent that, i dont see why not this year.
But wait...its Max! Why should F1 change the rules...he is their star boy..and they used Masi to prove that!!!

I think you can expect the rules to stay the same next year as well with the big 2026 revamp. No point in changing them when they're about to change anyways.
