2024 Mercedes will be 4th or a lucky 3rd(thinking of Ferrari's strategy) in constructor's championship. Mercedes has 2 years of data for an abandoned design that did not work. Mercedes also has hundreds of pictures of proven designs, but no data to support the proven designs. I think Mercedes is a least a year and a half behind Red Bull. Mercedes' engine power will carry them to 4th or 3rd.

I stopped judging the car based on its looks. The funny thing is that RBR copied MBP zero pod design. My thinking is the Zero pod design was the right move for MBP but they didn't have the right suspension & floor designs.
Now RBR have the best suspension and floor and coupled it with MBP Zero pod design and I think they will show MBP how it should be done and destroy every other team this year too.
I said all that and I'm a Mercedes Fan, it's sad because they are now behind on the RBR old design and behind on the Zero pod design too.
I think Hamilton realised this and was the reason for him to exit.
Is Ferrari going to be better than every one else in 2025? No one knows, but it's scary that everyone talking about 2025 like 2024 is done and dusted with.

Very much a uphill task to beat the RBR for anyone, there is no magic bullet here for success, I see no change to winning orders till 2026. LH will see the days FA has been going through this time when you don’t get to drive the fastest car on the grid. Ferrari is all promises and if they have the fastest car on the grid it will be CL who will be the winner.

I’m a RB fan but I am not writing off any teams. McLaren car looks exactly like the RB, they even added the Mercedes feature that RB did for the 20. Mercedes car also seems to following a RB style of concept but in their own way. Ferarri and Aston are a bit more unique to their own but I wouldn’t write them off either.

Here’s a thought if RB was the only team get it right the first time and everyone is copying them for to two years. Doesn’t that mean there may be a better way after accumulating a lot of data. Allison is saying don’t over design. Let the function design the car. This car doesn’t seem to have noisy lines. Let hope they took a practical but novel approach.
