He signed 6 days too early. Yes he jumped the gun but probably not his fault but by outside advise.

McLaren is largley Lando FC. Zak knows that. The bad thing is however is the longer he stays there the worse it becomes for them when he leaves. Speaking purely from a marketing perspective...but then again that's what matters most at mclaren these days

So big question is will Mercedes let McLaren we know what championship over them. I think Zack dropped the ball when he headed the opportunity to pants on Honda. What sort of cash is Norris getting ? Any good jurno would have info on a close number.

As a McLaren supporter I am very pleased that Lando has extended his contract. Both Lando and Oscar are excellent drivers and will win races if their car is good enough to compete at the very front. Here’s hoping!

Way too early for that decision from Lando. He's been faithful for years already, and despite being a winning driver, he has no wins to show for it. This makes me question his real drive and passion for those wins and a title. He's looking more like he's quite happy to have a cushy job in a place he enjoys, rather than an all out push to be in the best seat, like we saw from the Senna's and Prost's of the world.

Well six years in F1and NO wins!

😂😂😂 I think that old fox at Red Bull gave Lando a massively good position to negotiate with McLaren and Zac Brown went for it hook, line and sinker. Being a poocher himself he could see which way it would go. Lando would most definitely choose for a Championship winning team regardless of Max being there. I bet McLaren had to give a lot to sweeten the deal.

Congrats to Lando and McLaren for the extension to their association. But one point not to be ignored: it shows the pedigree of Zack Brown and the C Suite at McLaren in their ability to sign Piastri and now extended the contract of a key driver asset like Lando even with 2 years left to go on his contract. In contrast, Alpine’s demonstrated their poor leadership in dealing with, securing and managing their driver contracts as shown by the chaos they found themselves by loosing Fernando Alonso and Oscar Priastri all at once.

Poor ferrari stuck with overated legloc The driver makes the car but this generation its the car that makes the driver Rip f1
@ItzaBerrr Says:
What does Lando’s contract extension mean for Lando’s future? It means he’ll be driving for Mclaren…🤡
@Mark-zk3gu Says:
6:30 pathetically dumb question. thats the best you can do with regards to Leclerc's new deal?
@crystalvibes2122 Says:
Regarding Charles honestly yeah Ferrari needs to make a good car built to his strengths. But that seems like half the battle. I know that Ferrari hired a new strategy director so I am hopeful that that Ferrari can stop making dumb mistakes. But also Charles needs a new race engineer preferably one that listens to him and can effectively communicate instead of being a broken record of "we're looking into it". Finally, Ferrari needs to stop sacrificing Charles for Carlos especially when strategically and logistically that makes no sense.
@proesterchen Says:
Two talents not committed enough to their trade to move to either of the two teams that have won every Championship since 2009. Both stay in safe, but ultimately hopeless seats.
@Dyils Says:
He literally has no choice. And neither Charles. What are they gonna do? Go to Red Bull and be Max's 2nd? Their only option is to just gamble it. Stay put in your own team and hope that your team is next in line to start winning. Max, in a way, did that as well. He stayed in RB for ages hoping they'd be next in line to start winning championships. And they were. That's it. There's literally no other option for Lando and Charles than to just sit still and pray their team is next.
@lukeomahony3828 Says:
Not sure why all the Norris to Redbull rumours were ever taken seriously. Why would he want to leave from being the number one at McLaren to being the clear number two at Redbull ??
