They didn't really figure it out by race day though, long runs in practice showed exactly what we've seen all year, red bull were around 6-7 tenths more competitive in race trim Vs qualifying trim than the rest of the pack. That's the whole reason they've been so dominant in races while not being as consistent in qualifying.

No, redbull engineers didn't understand at all the car's behaviour this weekend which is not something to be ashamed or guilty of, it happens sometimes especially when you have all that pressure to win all the upcoming races and make the perfect winning streak
