The Merc asskissing FIA didn’t have a choice cause those dumbass stewards have no clue what they doing Aston martin is the second best car in the hand of Alfonso and till daddies boy is fully healed from his hand injuries he’ll start wiping the mercs and Ferraris 😂 Max to the8
@abel6846 Says:
Why is everyone surprised that Max was unhappy with 2nd? Like most pundits, he realizes that RBR may suffer from the low amount of computer and wind tunnel time in the business end of this season. He simply reckons that he needs to get most, if not all the points that are available to him, while RBR are still ahead of the field.
@storkpatrick Says:
So, Martyn, still owe me a green Shirt Video 😜😜
@aznclass Says:
FIA were told last minute of the Aston martin jackman touching the car. If they were told immediately, Alonso would’ve made up the time penalty given. The timing of the notification was clever and I don’t blame the FIA for once. Glad Alonso podium was reinstated.
@philspencelayh5464 Says:
Not the result I expected. I knew Max would easily get to second place but I was convinced that Checko would be told to move over for him, perhaps Horner as had a wave of fairness sweep over him, right result. DRS was introduced to allow overtaking when it was difficult to follow closely, could be time to get rid or at least change dramatically. Here we had three zones and the longest straight in F1 with Red Bulls already the fastest car getting an extra speed boost. On top of that cars that try to break the tow getting a warning for "weaving", If it wasn't for some fast cars starting low down the grid and the inevitable, in this case completely unnecessary safety car, the fiinishing order would have been settled after 10 laps leading to an even more predictable race.

“Rules are rules” is so British
@rachelkoiks Says:
I wasn't frustrated, I was relieved when it was overturned. But then I had already assumed in my mind that it would get overturned just based on the scenario of the POST PODIUM ceremony that ALONSO was a part of and that it was a SUPER LATE decision which is just blatantly confusing. They should've seen this backlash coming before they even came to their conclusion on the last lap with the amount of time that had passed as well as Alonso being interviewed and celebrating and being photographed and everything. They should've just decided immediately that they can't do anything about it now since both governing bodies at the time the penalty was being served had both already concluded that the penalty *was* served correctly. OR you'll have teams left/right/up/down turning in what they think are should've-been-penalties at their competitors for a better result after having members of their team scour the race footage for hours to analyze & nitpick anything they could use for a better result. I WAS frustrated when they're on the podium and everything is over and oh, 10 second penalty pops up. I was so annoyed and like, "What?! NOWWW???" Anyone remember the driver's meeting back when Charlie Whiting was in charge and it was about Checo cutting a corner or something which wasn't spotted during the race but was brought up by Vettel or possibly Grosjean (he liked to speak up a lot at those so it's kind of an assumption he chimed in) and basically Charlie told Checo "Well, I guess you got away with it then." <<<< This was the driver's meeting that birthed the beautiful and classic meme of "Checo's Confused Face" >>>>
@Guinnessdrnkr1234 Says:
You sound like a bunch of biased fanboys, unsubed
@Rodejong Says:
Jos Fistbumped Checo and smiled to him, when Checo past, and Verstappen shook hands with Jos, and hugged Horner! But that @Autosport doesn't show or tell you! (I do hate Jos though, but be honoust please)
@geoffmacey8728 Says:
Have Merc said they are going the RB route not seen one Merc person officially say they are I thought it wasn't in their plans

FIA seriously need a reality check...... Alonso drove the wheels off it
@balexander1658 Says:
2023 Saudi Arabian GP (pt.2) summary: 1: Perez wins 2: If Perez could continue to have a 15 car advantage over Max ,he might win the championship.🤣 3: Aston penalized out of a podium. Still best of the rest. 4: Is there a possible rivalry between Checo and Max brewing? 5: The failure of Ferrari and Mercedes bigger news than who wins the race.
@aaronsorensen5165 Says:
The front Jack should be the only thing in the box (to indicate the car to stop), for the penalty time. So they are basically staying where they are while the car is coming in.
@globaltempo Says:
You're wrong guys, the rule says that the team can't work on the car before the 5 secs penalty. Touching a car is not working on it. Is getting out of the garage by the mechanics working on the car?
@An.Individual Says:
The 30 minute delay was due to Mercedes lobbying, why don't they just say that?
@andrewtolbert2112 Says:
That I have picked a sport , where they haven't even established the F__KING RULES it is 2023 . Not 1993 ,what a Joke to the sport. So much for integrity 🤔
@jaysuneakle Says:
Hats off to the fia for owning up to the mistake instead of doubling down on their initial decision due to pride. I am happy to see they owned up and changed their decision. You don't see that much these days..
@paradiddlesixix22 Says:
actually there were like 5 cars in yesterdays race that lined up outside the box, and only alonso was penalized. look at the shots at the starting grid.
@jaysuneakle Says:
Talk of Jos Verstappen being unhappy with the results. If my dad came to my job and behaved in any way other than a guest would make me feel embarrassed and feel like a child. What does Max's grandmother feel about the race? Why should we care? Jensen Button's dad was my favorite example of a parent. He was always having a fun time and celebrating, not frowning and hypertensive and trying to put influence on the team for favoritism. Sounds like a helicopter parent
@charlesshephard2764 Says:
Thanks for the analysis. Good stuff. On a technical level, though, a pop shield for Matt's microphone is a must-have, not a nice-to-have. Do a test recording and confirm it sounds 100% pop-free before doing the next show.
@TheKieshaKiesha Says:
that "art" on the wall in the backgroung looks like a bunch of sperm
@DMEGC Says:
The information that is given here opposed the information I got elsewhere. Other people claim that the rule don´t state to not touch the car, but only to not work on the car, so no rule was breaken "technically". The interpretation of what constitutes working on the car was not in any way decided to meant that it implied not touching the car, that was proposed but not agreed, so it´s not that according with the agreed interpretation they broke the rule, it´s that the interpretation the FIA applied isn´t the interpretation that was agreed by the teams.
@CdrMcNeil Says:
“Flavio Briatore would have been happy with that safety car timing”. I see what you did there.

@poladesierodesieropola6975 Says:
El problema de la FIA es que todavía quedan demasiados ingleses y la prensa de ese pais creen que la FIA son ellos, patético pero asi lo ven
@johncashmere5112 Says:
Aston Martin not only produced proof of one precedent but six others regarding a carjack touching the car while serving a penalty.
@peterhaslund Says:
Best content as usual
@96wtfomg Says:
Justice was done but the FIA need to get their shit together
@yulandir7ify Says:
Yes yes yes Let’s just ignore Checo’s victory look the other way and make news about how bad Ferrari and Mercedes performed I wonder why?
@senivan22 Says:
That safety car was totally unnecessary, a VSC is enough to safely remove strolls car out of the track, the Alonzo 10 seconds penalty was so a totally mess up.
@billyhenson2906 Says:
If u look at the race start reactions , Perez had a better reaction time over Alonzo .. the aston may just be better off the line
@mistafiftyone9227 Says:
The safety car was bs and we all know it . Redbull cheating again smh
@durodesduvo8424 Says:
The Haas and the Alpha Tauri look too similar man…
@th1nk_outside Says:
9:09 i wonder how Alonso managed to park in the second grid spot with moving wheels and no other cars or grid slots behind... XD
@Chyeahokay Says:
I wouldn’t be surprised if Alonso was out of the startbox purposely. Probably got some sight advantage.
@proffesionalretard Says:
Alonso getting 2 podiums in 1 race 🐐 😂
@AgentBoSmoke Says:
LFG CHECO!!! 🏁🏁🏁
@maGnetar333 Says:
Alonso's post race penalty : Just another pathetic attempt by the FIA to help Mercedes into a beneficial outcome. Even if they know it would not stick. Perhaps, it wouldn't have been overturned, if it were Mr. Mediocre (No.44) who stood to gain a podium at Alonso's expense 😂 Autosport must be distraught after the first 2 GPs this season.
@1970cgb Says:
If ur not a fan of red bull there’s gonna be a lot of pain for everyone else this season ,their more dominant than the mercs ever were .
@TL-xw6fh Says:
Totally correct to award Alonso the third place. He deserved it. Vamos Alonso!
@JatinderKumar-pv8hx Says:
For better racing track should have only one DRS zone
@Praise_God369 Says:
Excited for Australia i think that track will suit more the AM car ,also Alonso a little specialist there ...fingers crossed he will mix between the RB's and keep his championship hopes alive 👌
@memeguyTM Says:
Who is going to address the cheating by Aston Martin. How did they get so fast so quickly when every other midfield team has not been able to do this for years?
@mauricerose3082 Says:
...Formula One's gone woke...
@dawdawes Says:
F1 needs to go it alone, the FIA have become a dictatorship . 😡😡🤬
@Frazec_Atsjenkov Says:
F1 is a technical sport with an extensive rule book. That is the sport we want and love. If you want simple rules and fast arbitration, please go find a different sport because this is not the one for you. Complaining about the level of arbitration is so easy and childish.
@cryptout Says:
Props to Checo, won by managing the gap and made zero mistakes.
