Obviously they can't accept that there's asian player better than them.
@PrincessYuki77 Says:
Ken Griffey Jr. was still better and had the perfect swing.
Not to take away anything from Ohtani. Going 50/50 is probably like joining the 300 club as a pitcher.

It kind of surprised me that he still had a postseason obp of .373
@hope1407f Says:
Dude was crucial for the win of the Dodgers, mad respect.
@The40Glock1 Says:
Dodgers wouldve won a world series without him
@Isidore-x6d Says:
Could Ohtani be the Dodgers’ key 🔐?
@berger21488 Says:
yall really milked this 5:41 sec. there was no way he has that many highlights i saw the games
Too bad he got injured but glad his teammates are more than enough to win this one. Glad Freddie got going too or we would have seen Trashy Yankees celebrating. This was fate coz they are running on fumes with Batters and Pitchers getting close to not being enough.
Shohei didn’t do too bad in his first postseason. I’m so glad that he finally got a World Series ring.
@mariokart9227 Says:
Ngl I forgot the crazy stretch he had with runners in scoring position
@蔵前鈍次郎 Says:
I have totally forgotten what he done in post season. He shot so many HR and cluch hits just before the WS. Now I realized that he is really important for Dodgers!
@chinitopinoy1726 Says:
People that are saying he didn't do anything in post season should watch this. lol Yes, i understand his WS performance was a bit lacking, but without his previous two series performance, the Dodgers would not even be there. He will do better next year in the WS series.
@panchopantera2085 Says:
The first postseason HR was the key for Dodgers road to the championship, his HR ignited the Team and the fans, it gave us that spark of belief not everybody in Dodgers uniform had a great WS but his presence alone just like Kershaw’s, Glasnow’s and all the injured players who couldn’t play was important throughout the postseason, he will shine even brighter cause he’ll be pitching and batting next postseason 🔥🥷🏽 haters keep hating is ok, but nobody will take away the fact that in his first postseason appearance he became a CHAMPION 🏆 Ohtani is the 🦄 🐐
@Leo-ks3tf Says:
Ohtani in his first season with the Dodgers exceeded all expectations, he's an injured pitcher almost won a battling title and a triple crown, broke dozens of records, led almost every offensive statistics, went 50-50 and won a World Series Championship.
@bananaore7 Says:
Although he was injured in the WS, it is no exaggeration to say that Dodgers' victory would not have been possible without Ohtani.
① Legendary series, first ever 54/59, first DH WAR 9.1 and MVP. It is no exaggeration to say that the division championship and highest winning percentage (home advantage acquisition) were all thanks to him.
② First game of the DS, a three-run home run that saved the team. After giving up three runs in the first inning, the team and fans were depressed, thinking "Ah, we're going to lose again this year," but he saved them with just one hit. This is exactly where the Dodgers PS began.
③ NLCS, against Mets. He recorded a new team record of 17 on base in the NLCS. He made his presence felt even without swinging the bat, and earned many walks. He also hit a three-run home run and a leadoff home run, and was an undeniable performance.
④ WS, against Yankees. Freeman's grand slam in the first game was impressive, but without Ohtani's double in the bottom of the eighth inning (a great base run in which he stole third base after an error by the other team), that home run by Freeman may not have happened. His double in the eighth inning saved the team. After that, he injured his shoulder in the second game, but he was so intimidating to the opposing pitcher that he was able to get on base even with a walk or a hit by pitch. And throughout all the games, he was constantly moving the opposing bullpen, which was one of his less visible but great contributions.
@daitran5745 Says:
2025 post season highlight will defintely be longer
@Bigrog1988 Says:
That first home run is outrageous. Only topped by Freddies Grand Slam of course!

@camctrail Says:
18 for 23 with runners in scoring position in the postseason. That is legitimately unbelievable
@robertaBooey69 Says:
It’s safe to say San Diego was the second best team. Really the only test in the playoffs. What a run after an injury riddled season for the dodgers
@amandahuginkiss4098 Says:
Only baseball I watched was the world series and I don't get all of the hype for him. He seems way overpaid. All he did was get a walk and get caught stealing.
@ravin-yw1vj Says:
Remember Ohtani also finished the regular season hitting .628/.667/1.186 with seven home runs six doubles, 10 stolen bases, 15 runs and 22 RBIs in his final 10 games of the season.
@ravin-yw1vj Says:
Ohtani carried the Dodgers to the World Series, hit a 3 run HR against the Padres also in game 3 against the Mets he hit a 3 run HR, the next day had a 1st inning HR in game 4, Ohtani hit .365 in NLCS and through the postseason he was 18 for 23 in RISP. In the World Series had a triple scored the tying run that led to Freemans HR. In game 2 he got injured but still willing to play, a heart of a Lion. In his first season with the Dodgers he help win a Championship🏆
@davidschecter5247 Says:
He also walked in important situations. And he was walked simply because the other teams were so afraid of him. Does anyone think the Dodgers would have even won their division without Ohtani?
@thebops4180 Says:
How to buy a championship!
@jumomediacorp Says:
I cant wait for ohtani as a starter in postseason.
I am puzzled by those who says that Shohei Ohtani didn’t contribute much if anything at all to the Dodgers winning the World Series. Do they even follow the postseason...like actually watching it?
Shohei Ohtani is the single biggest reason why the Dodgers are even playing in the World Series, let alone winning it. If anything, Shohei Ohtani is not given nearly enough credit for helping the Dodgers to win the World Series.
@kevinchang5082 Says:
The home run against SD was epic ngl
@BenDover-vs7ih Says:
No shohei no ring. He was exactly what the Doyers needed to win a World Series. Others may have gotten the MVP in the playoffs but just the fact of having a big dawg in the lineup changed everything for that organization. He's still not getting enough credit.
@Franzreharry Says:
Terrible, pathetic World Series more strikeouts than hits and walks
