Yes he won…but there is a thing called a bad winner. The way he comported himself throughout the match with his chest thumping and getting the crowd to scream all the time . Not my idea of a sportsman. Not that he’ll care. The grunts/screams after every strike of the ball was really off putting .
So yes he won , and it was a tough match , but no hero to me !
