I'm a Washington lifer but I'm also a life-long Duke blue devils fan which is where Daniel Jones played college ball so of course I'm a Danny Dimes fan. Now don't get me wrong I want Washington to crush the Giants and so happy to have Jaden and the entire team happy and playing well. Because while Jaden is getting nothing but praise, Jones gets nothing but hate, so I wanna throw up some stat comparisons.
Jaden has thrown for 1736 yards, 7 touchdowns and 2 ints. Jaden has rushed 74 times for 424 yds and 4 scores.
Jones has thrown for 1706 yards, 6 touchdowns and 5 ints, he has rushed 53 times for 185 yards and 0 scores.
Now, yes Jaden has better stats but not by a huge margin on anything. He's thrown for just 30 more yards and 1 more td than Jones. Daniel's biggest difference is in rushing where he rushed over 20 more attempts but ran for over 200 yards more and 4 scores, although he hasn't had a rushing td since week 4, 0 the last 4 games. My point is there isn't a huge difference in numbers between Daniel's and Jones yet Jaden is being praised and Jones is being hated. It's very clear to me that the losing is not all on Daniel Jones, the giants have problems but they have a solid qb in Jones. Oh and Jones has been sacked 25 times already compared to 17 for Jaden. Daniel Jones is a big guy with a solid arm and good running ability, stop blaming Jones for everything. Giants fans will see if Jones leaves and goes to another team as the starter, they will quickly find out Jones isn't the issue.
