Леха, а ты чего теперь за Латвию выступаешь что-ли!??🤣🥎🤣
@davidviner5783 Says:
Now Popyrin has started screaming when he wins a point. Some unhinged behaviour at the PO this year. Didn't help Shelton much!
@duncan3932 Says:
I’m surprised Med was even having to face Popy this early, i assumed Popyrin was higher ranked given that he won a masters this year
@allisonjones7549 Says:
yeahhhh Poppy
@FrancescoCantone Says:
File under "cold handshake of the year".
@AllgoodthingsTv Says:
Re: the handshake. This was a contentious match. (They didn't show the part where a line call was wrong and Popyrin threw a tantrum and said he didn't want to play anymore). I've never liked Popyrin's attitude. I remember when Shelton beat him at the AO in 2023 and he made the comment that Popyrin was "bullying" people around on the court. I don't usually root for Meddy, but I definitely was here. I can't believe he didn't beat him.
@marchvertochko0056 Says:
When you are 1.98 cm, you are supposed to be at least a top 10 player serve-wise if you want to beat the best and maintain a top 5 level. But Daniil is not even close to top 30 in the serve department. Even guys’ serve like Ruud and Rublev is way more effective if we take the stats. He has to figure it out immediately. You can’t be that tall and serve so mediocre. Daniil, on the other hand, has to acknowledge that and make an effort to fix and make those tweaks that rather than denying it.

The cool-and-calm Popyrin, the different one!
@jonienglish3231 Says:
Well done Alexei

Meds game is too one dimensional

メド政権崩壊
@sigmotion Says:
Meddy isn't the same since that AO loss to Sinner.
@pauljohnson6019 Says:
This must be staged, Medvedev never plays this badly, apart from when he's facing Nadal, maybe he's upset, because Nadal is retired now, so he'll never get the chance, to avenge that AO2022 defeat.
@kriordan25 Says:
Alexei on fire Great stuff
@CL2- Says:
Sinner broke this man
@thiagobadin5331 Says:
o think that after the hard losses against alcaraz and sinner, medvedev started to change his game. He always was known for being the octopus, for getting the speed from the opponents balls. However, trying to achieve the level of pace that sinner and alcaraz have, he started to miss more and his game started to fall apart. This specific game the serve was bad, but a lot of unforced errors as well.

Popyrin on the riseee☝🏽☝🏽
@fabrizioriva1281 Says:
The court looks like so short...
@AlphaDanLOL Says:
Meddy played alright. It was his 14 double faults that cost him The match. He just needs to work on his serve more.
@BrotherTree1 Says:
Daniil's record at the Paris Masters is dreadful. Apart from 2020 where he won the title and 2021 where he made the final, he's always lost his opener and/or never made it past the second round. Having said all that, Medvedev's time at the top may be over. He's almost as bad as Ruud now in hardly ever winning matches at Masters 1000 events.
@grinoodle Says:
Medvedev did not play well throughout this season and it looks like it's getting worse at the end. Time for a new coach!
@jesusdelmas Says:
This Guy IS just one day Lucky... A noone
@tabscoobrealestate6061 Says:
bien trabajado, aplausos Alexei!
@barrym5310 Says:
Imagine how he’d scream if something truly important happened in his life.

this camera angle is terrible.

Good game

Colder then WTA at the net ahahah
@bradleybrazington385 Says:
Big win
@TennisFan97 Says:
Don't worry, it's just a normal even-numbered year for Medvedev. If you look at the stats, 2019, 2021, and 2023 were all considerably better than 2020, 2022, and 2024. He'll be back in 2025 💪
@freefire-zq9oj Says:
Bravo pour Popyrin Je pense que le russe est un vrai malade mental, il ne gagnera jamais un autre GC vu ses gestes malsains et son comportement impulsif sur le court ✍🎾🎾
@energybuilderMD Says:
Difficult end of season for Medy'! Stay focus for the Masters and get back your serve. It will be better 👌
@frankg.39 Says:
Well done Alexei, he has improved his mental game for sure.
@Stu49583 Says:
So happy Popyrin won. Can't stand this boring, weak hitting octopus.
@SusanLee-m5k Says:
Med got a bagel from six kings slam. That didn’t help with confidence.
@anwar7686 Says:
Medvedev needs a bit of more mental strength. Djokovic is live example and has lot to offer for others to follow. He also needs to have better serve to compete at that level. Should also come on net more with an offensive mind set. Any way best wishes for his career ahead.
@shorts-memes-fest Says:
Danil's game has become very passive too predictable and I think he really need to change something up specially with his return positioning. But that racket catch attempt was hilarious 😂
@sg-px5vh Says:
Why Popyrin so angry/mad after winning a point?
@Anonymous1234-hw1ik Says:
Medvedev has replaced Zverev as the new double fault king
@HemantShahi-y2g Says:
Maddy must change strategy
@ivanandreevich8568 Says:
By thrilling you mean one of the worst of the year I guess? Three double faults on break point when you're nearly two meters tall 😂
@sierra1999 Says:
Medvedev is falling off quickly and he needs to do something about it. Maybe a year ago it was only Novak and Alcaraz causing him problems now theres a handful of players who can beat him on their day.
@lorenzocor5715 Says:
DM seems to me slower than usual both in movement and running
@dktky5658 Says:
Two Russians walk onto a Parisian tennis court...and have a cold handshake at the end.
