Andy's game was so different compared to the rest of the tour. He didn't rely on power or a strong serve. He uses the tough angles of the court to drag opponent into difficult positions and at the same time bait them into vulnerable positions to hit behind them or produce a passing shot when they charge the net weakly. It's really fascinating to watch. It's like he's playing chess on a tennis court.

Andy murray grunting and shouting while he is running must be irritating for opponents

No wonder Murray didnt win anyting the last few years, the standard is so much higher these days. looking back his prime was a weak era apart from the big 3

If Andy in different era he can win 10 Grand slams.

That was a great year for Murray. What a competitor! But such a sh*tty, loopy forehand and second serve though - real liabilities

He literally went god mode at the end of this season. I hate when people dismiss his achievements. It’s like they only remember what he was like after his metal hip. This guy was part of the big 4. By no means does this mean we are saying he was on the same level as big 3. Of course he wasn’t. Hence why we have a term called big 3. But big 4 means for that period of time when those 4 were the best itw. Held the top 4 rankings or at least featured in the top 4. Made the final 4 more than anyone and beat everyone else. Other players would look at playing Murray the same as playing at the other 3. Cos Murray would more often than not beat them. His struggles came against the big 3. Happy to witness his career albeit shortened in his prime❤

That push for number one spot in the end of 2016 also pushed his body too far and shortened his tennis career at the top of the game

Andy Murray's run from Queens to the ATP Finals in 2016 was epic and memorable.
@Sanctified57 Says:
We now have a much higher speed of play from the likes of Sinner, Alcaraz, Draper, Medvedev etc

Absolutely insane effort from Murray to close the 8000pt gap from Djokovic after French Open 2016. Playing and winning so many events and then beating Djokovic in the World Tour Finals to secure the Year End No.1 was truly inspirational.

We could only cry remembering these seasons. So many quality players were going around... Djokovic, Murray, Stan were at their peak, with Rafa and RF going strong plus there were Delpo, Berdych, Isner, Raonic, Anderson, Gasquet and others

after this he became a full time woke feminist and went down hill.
