Both players at their peak were incredible returners. Both having to work so hard to hold their service games - in the end Murray was able to win a few more cheap points on his 1st serve. It’s so tiring to watch them slug it out - two absolute super athletes.

Amazing players but too weak in shotmaking. Murray did find that extra edge in 2016 but his overall career, just like Ferrers is marked as a defensive fast players career, not an aggressive baseliner like most top players are. Looking at the level Carlos and Jannik are producing now I am happy that tennis is powering up even more.
