This makes no difference. Now Rodgers and Adams both can play mediocre football and still not win championships. Plus Buffalo is running that division. If Miami had a QB the Jets would POSSIBLY be the 3rd best team in the AFC East.

I think this was the steelers plan all along. and the team knows it. and they arent looking at it like fields is getting benched. just the starting qb, one of their captains, is back from being hurt. but you can only play that card once. from here forward its now performance based. someone gets pulled its cause they got benched.

He's bringing Wilson in against a newly strengthened team with a very strong defense. To be honest, I think Tomlin is "sacrificing" this game and throws Wilson under the bus. He's giving him the chance (as promised) and saving face. If Wilson loses (which I think is quite likely), he can easily bring Fields back in and the issue is off the table for now.
