I love Berretini a lot, but I think his grand slam hope is pretty much over, and not mentioning his tennis career.

I think Matteo's career will end soon unfortunately, it can't be a coincidence the constant abdominal injuries (can't always rise up the rankings, back injured and try to rise again, it's tough).
Probably something to do with the serve movement, of course it's not something I can know, but his back goes a lot backwards and I think (because of that) he stresses his abs a lot.
At his age it's hard to change that, not to mention that the serve and the forehand are his true strengths, if you take away one of them, what's left ... the forehand?
It's too bad really, I'd like him to have a chance for Wimbledon.

That looks like an oblique injury... hope it's just a minor strain. Maybe he'll be ready for Davis Cup, otherwise Australia. I'm not surprised though - his serve, great as it is, always looked a little suspect to me. The way he arches his torso backwards... always seems he doesn't lean into his serve enough
