After the preseason successes, Drake Maye was the best QB on the field - on either team. If Drake Maye were Black, he would be starting this weekend. The other two quarterbacks picked ahead of him are starting. One on a worst team than the Patriots. This is not a development issue. It’s the PATS being DEI.
I will guarantee you one thing, if this current trend continues, Drake Maye will be here a lot longer that coach Mayo.

Joel klatt said Drake would have been the number one pick if he was 23 years old. He only 21 and he still had him as the second best quarterback in that draft. I am so glad Washington and even Chicago did not take Drake. We were very fortunate here in New England to get him.

I see so many people cry but understanding a rebuild isn't hard. Bill threw mac in without support. Not saying mac is amazing but he def didn't have help. Carolina, did the same thing to no success. There's so many holes in the team that 1 year cant address it all. We picked our qb for the next few years, let him sit for most of the season. Coach around our strengths win a couple of games, let maye get some late year reps in and get momentum built for year 2 with some picks that fix the problems.

When we look at rookies for that last 3 or 4 years who have been thrown to the wolves it rarely ends well. Love sat behind Rodgers for 2 years hell Rodgers sat for 2 years as well. Mahomes sat almost an entire season. It gives them time to see the speed and the offense hear the calls as they go in and see it on the play sheet. will he be TB12 doubtful not many can become that.
