I truly believe a lot of these quarterbacks over the years that turned out to be “busts” were really in fact in a system, under coaching, or in an organization that failed them as much, if not more so than whatever they did to contribute to their lack of success in the league. Maybe all Trey Lance needed was to be under a coach or in the system that was able to bring out the best and what he could do. We’ll see how this unfolds cowboy fans.

Please keep in mind Lance is not playing against starters, mostly second and third string. Yes he did a nice little scramble but has overthrown several passes. Trust me, he will not take Cooper Rush spot. No one should get excited about any pre-season game because it really doesn’t prove anything that’s why they don’t count.
