Hard to cheer for this team with the current brand. A rebrand immediately at the end of the season would be what I hope for the most.

Given that Washington still doesn't have strong OL depth and their CBs are not good; I see them winning no more than 7 or 8 games this year. Everywhere else they're solid in. Playoff contention maybe next season after they draft or FA those missing pieces.

There are still some glaring weaknesses in this Commanders team. Rivera destroyed this roster with horrible drafting and bad free agent signings. They did turnover quite a lot of guys this year but they have a long ways to go. It's probably the worst defensive backfield in the NFL, pass rush is weak, OL isn't necessarily even better this year, and Daniels is one misstep away from injury. I'm extremely happy with DQ and liked the Daniels pick and like the future, but this year I think people are getting ahead of themselves. This will not be a great year.

The Commanders are NOT ready YET. They will be next year they literally fired everyone who Ron Rivera hired, none of his draft picks are starting and everyone involved with the mishandling of RG3 has been fired this year. They need a year to mesh.

Commanders aren’t dangerous because that secondary can’t play whatever scheme they demand. Forbes was a Thorpe guy & played off man at Miss State for example playing his best reading the QB and they expected him to line up press man every play back to back against AJ Brown 🥴. They need a new secondary & they gave up their pass rushers to trades.
