Bellucci wow that's some insane defense.
@caviles71 Says:
looks like Tiafoe lost to another CLOWN
@TimelyAdventure Says:
Feels like Shang can be a grand slam contender in the near future
@DNA2000-8bit Says:
Also, FWIW Shang is the next very big deal. Players know. He's like a Top 8 player as long as he continues to play freely and doesn't get inside his own head. He has every shot with power.
@DNA2000-8bit Says:
Nishioka played at his actual peak. Tiafoe wasn't hitting bad at all. One of those days.
@MoorishBrooklyn Says:
Shang deserves to win. Incredible tennis he displayed.
@MoorishBrooklyn Says:
Nishioka brought some determination with his tennis.
@iamNathanGreen Says:
10:55 Ah the good ol' Robin Haase
@shapursasan9019 Says:
They don't even both mentioning Nishioka's name in the headline--even though he won!
@andrespallares5786 Says:
Tiafoe should retire and play pickleball
@mrmarty1974 Says:
Shang can go top 5 within little time
@FF_AlohaEdition Says:
Tiafoe lost to a "clown". Tiafoe may have come from a humble background but obviously he partied too much and forgot where he came from.
@HaraldSchneider-m8n Says:
Shang plays great: these passing shots are insane. Purcell and Thomson can run 5 hours....
@yogu46 Says:
My man Tiafoe winning slams and the gold medal at the olympics…. Oh wait
@lhmmxf007 Says:
shangs passing shots are insane
@Anglaide Says:
Never thought I'd see Shang high in Atlanta!
@sebulban Says:
Tiafoe will never win anything big
@corgeousgeorge Says:
Shang has excellent, excellent groundstrokes. So fluid and pure. Doesn't look like he's hitting the ball all that hard but it just flies through the court.
@corgeousgeorge Says:
Nice match with Thompson and Davidovich Fokina. Both, so hot. Glad to see Thompson have a late career surge, not every day you see doubles specialists really make a move in singles like he has. Good on him!
@roddi6503 Says:
Unfortunate result for belluci today. Hope to see more from him soon, he is lightning quick and so entertaining to watch
@DuncanGacheru Says:
Ever since Tiafoe said he was losing to clowns, I welcome his every loss. There’s no room for disrespect and tomfoolery in tennis. Hold that L young Man.
@hoyas Says:
Rinderkneck iced Bellucci for a solid 15mins after the second set, went to the locker room, and when he came back he took forever to get ready, slowly putting on his wrist bands. Not the first time he played mind games with his opponent and displayed poor sportsmanship.
@shadowagent6051 Says:
There's a reason why Tiafoe won't play the in the olympics you know,and for christ sake why I not surprised of seeing him playing Atlanta,now he's gonna wait for the next US tournament to play,in meantime he's gonna keep hosting parties with that spoiled brat Shelton 😂
@Mitch-z1t Says:
Tiafoe's better days behind him
@starllama2149 Says:
Adding to his list of clowns.
@GUTOMOFFICIAL Says:
Tiafoe fell off
@Rune8119 Says:
Didn’t frances said recently that he was ready to win a slam and called other players who he lost against clowns? Thank you!
@davidjohnson-yg5wn Says:
GREAT win by Nishioka!
@CH-yp5by Says:
This Shang kid its the real deal, I saw him play at Wimbledon for the first time and he nearly caused a big upset against De Minaur as a qualifier, extremely talented!
@Saperlipopette777 Says:
@willschmidt7042 Says:
Shang is him
@RastaFaly758 Says:
Davidovich Fokina, is thoroughly giving me David Nalbandian vibes - is it just me?
@pukulu Says:
Nishioka is just kind of steady but it was enough against Tiafoe.
@JoshRichardson-es6vx Says:
How does tiafoe get 2 sets against alcaraz in Wimbledon yet loses to nishiaoko
@QuangNguyen-ng5zh Says:
Tiafoe lack of effort shows in the 2nd set. Atlanta fans must be sad with him and Shelton out
@unknownvitster Says:
If Shang can start to be more forward-minded in his playstyle he's going to be a force.
@fluffymcfluffysticks69 Says:
What does Tiafoe do well besides serve? Nothing. He is a subpar returner. His forehand is loopy and doesn't pierce through the court quickly enough. Backhand not much of a weapon either just shot he massages back into play. Then he'll make random errors in untimely spots. He is what he is. Wildly overrated. He can hit a decent drop shot I'll give him that - but he just gets pushed around from the back of the court a lot. He doesn't hit through opponents. The guy to look out for is Shang. Tremendous from the baseline. Great speed. Utilizes a slice well. HIs forehand he can use as a strong defensive shot to place in corners to neutralize points or flatten out to be more aggressive and hit winners. Backhand is solid. Is able to hit the touch shots well. Way higher ceiling than Tiafoe who does decent at the US Open, but then struggles in almost every event outside that
