I am amazed how many predictable shots are returned without going down the line immediately for the win and to save your energy. The amount of unnecessary rallies seems as if it is there to entertain the audience.
I see this in so many players and the predictable shallow shots, mid court, so easy to see.
Having played tennis myself it seems like such a waste of energy to rally hoping the opponent will make a mistake.
