Even though Klay Thompson will now be in Dallas, his career was remarkable. I mean, thanks to him and Curry, he made our Warriors from lame to a dynasty. Seriously, the championships we had in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022 were thanks to him, Curry, and Green. 2016, we had the most tremendous regular season ever for an NBA team. You know we beat the 1996 Chicago Bulls record for the most wins in a season. Their record was 72-10; our Warriors went further by going 73-9 that year, beating their excellent record. Unfortunately, we didn't win the title that year, thanks to Cleveland beating us in one of the greatest NBA Finals ever. But still, that was an outstanding achievement.
Overall, thank you, Klay Thompson. You gave us one of the best moments here in the Bay Area for basketball and made us one of the greatest sports cities ever. Hopefully, your legacy will not be forgotten.
