I understand the LIV thing. Not that I agree with his position totally, but I did not like that he didn’t come out and congratulate Bryson on the win. I am 61 years old. And I saw Jack congratulate Tom - twice. The “Duel in the Sun” at the Open, and at the US Open at Pebble Beach. That is what makes golf played at the highest level great, gentlemen fighting hard, and congratulating their competitors when they beat you. I think Rory missed an opportunity here for the fans of golf to respect him a little bit.

I lost all respect for Rory when he called out all the LIV players. It's easy to call guys out when your not even middle aged and have enough money for the rest of your life. My problem was not with the rich guys getting a contract in LIV. But the fact that the working class pro has another option to make a living. I love the PGA, but they are a Monopoly with only so many slots for the millions of people who want to be a pro. LIV offers another option just like all the mini tours.
