What a moment for Carl Jenkinson. Jenko was Arsenal through and through. He was a brilliant player. What a finish. Brilliant team goal. King Jenko 👑. Carl living the dream of all Arsenal fans. I remember this goal. I was at this match away to Norwich. Theo Walcott had taken the goal away from Carl in that crazy reading game. The ball was already over the line before Jenko tapped it in

I remember this so well. He thought he scored in that crazy Reading game in League Cup but it was credited to Walcott since the ball crossed the line before Jenkinson put the ball in the net. Glad he managed to get his goal for us, proper Gooner ❤

"It was 1961 and I was walking down Seven Sister's Road on my dad's shoulders. I asked him why people were celebrating and he said "don't worry about that son, I'll take you to see some proper football next year.' So the next season I went to my first Arsenal game, and the Club has been my life ever since - I've been a season ticket holder as long as I can remember. Now - exactly 50 years after first standing on the Clock End - my son plays for the team. It's unbelievable. It's a dream come true for both Carl and myself, I can't tell you how proud i am of him." - Steve Jenkinson (Carl’s dad) ♥️
