It’s not just golf that’s hurting. They have no free games to watch on the free TV. They always charging everything they can that’s goes for the baseball football. Anything else in sports hockey whatever it’s ruin the whole concept of the plays out there it’s all about the money nowadays it’s not who attends it or not attend it. Fans being affected by the PGA Tour / LIV Golf debate. I don't even listen to it so it's very hard to be burnt out by it. I've heard of this and unfortunately this is a character flaw certain people possess. I love the PGA Tour full stop. Players coming through like Ludvig Åberg replace those who've left. Let me see. Judging by the LIV contingent at the 2024 Masters here’s my observation:
LIV is just a 54 hole exhibition tour complete with shorts to ensure comfort ahead of competition for its Billionaires while competing against a small field of Millionaires.
Token purses and small desperate fields, of less than 60 golfers each tournament, are void of any competitive drama which will ensure these soft rich guys do not win any more Majors.
The LIV Tour is made up of guys easily corrupted by tainted 911 Saudi money who lack the character of golf's greats.
I say to these guys who have shown their character, to have a price bought and paid for, should just enjoy their retirement on the Pre-Senior’s Tour. These same players aren’t chasing golf immortality but easy street. In LIV, they found it.
I hold up the illustrious Dustin Gretzky, who is more easily kept track of, by Paulina for his previous relational indiscretions and wandering eye.

It would be a shame if he did go to LIV as I enjoy watching him play and would then only see him in the majors - as is the case for Rahm, DJ, De Chambeau, Smith.
But if LIV think that spunking a billion or so to hook McIlroy will make their format any more watchable they are mistaken - I’ve tried watching LIV tournaments and just think it’s a load of bollox with the pseudo team stuff and the overall feel. It’s exhibition golf and somehow it’s hollow as a spectacle.
