I mean these rules official are just being used by players to justify their intent. Pretty worthless. 😂
@ajp8447 Says:
Why is Speith talking so much???
@mcaste8495 Says:
The guy does have a cannon for an arm.
@JohnFishburne1 Says:
Just put a track man on every tee and it will tell you exactly where it crossed. As long as it didn’t bounce off a tree.
@arethereanyuniquehandles Says:
The fans on the other side of the hole in no way could see the ball hit the ground and determine it hit below the red line. I can't see how you saw the bounce if it landed below the red line, period. This is a nothing burger.
@paultaylor4614 Says:
Victor is starting to but in on very rule imaginable when it comes to a ball crossing a point. Them using spectators as a reference is stupid. Tv didnt have a spot rory was comfortable going back farther than where it went in arguement over pick up the pace and go.
@ArturoGarzaID Says:
I thought he was going to retire?
@mikebelnap3079 Says:
Watching the players today and noticed a couple of replays from drones or elevated cameras showing us ball flights from up top into the water……I wonder why they won’t show us Rory’s from up top?
@Goldmember66 Says:
After watching this, I’m thinking there was a second shooter. 😀
@badpalsx1 Says:
JOHNSON- sick cannon for an arm. Guys prolly got a hog on him. That first throw was legendary Johnson. This clip is epic. I almost pissed myself watching this live when he threw that first ball it was so fucking funny
@maxwellhaynes Says:
inside the red line
@scanman84 Says:
Its SO obvious that it landed ABOVE the red line. Wtf.
@555fourthstreet8 Says:
Jordan is funny. For someone who admitted he wasn’t able to see it he had a lot to say the whole time.
@seancormier5961 Says:
Who cares
@RyanGalka Says:
Rory is a class act t he said he wants to do the right thing
@_Michael_Scott Says:
Cheater!
Got his karma comeuppance during 2nd round👏
@brucewallner6753 Says:
Why not have the announcers all set up shop in the bar and we can listen to them kibitz and talk about stories queue up some highlights from 15 years ago and we can listen to that banter I don’t think so
@brucewallner6753 Says:
Wow, this is getting difficult to watch. I just think maybe hitting the mute button is the best option. There is just so much so many unnecessary words by so many different announcers for what what’s the reason why just report the shot
@brucewallner6753 Says:
Jordan Spieth is a whiner fidgety he’s neurotic he’s a control, freak, and overrated
@ignatiusjk Says:
It shouldn't matter where it hit, it went into the water. Two club lengths from where you thought it went in, end of "controversy."
@K9388-n3z Says:
Rory tried cheating again…
@ignatiusjk Says:
SIMPLIFY THIS FUCKING GAME !!!!!!!!!!!
@mikehamelin9828 Says:
It’s very easy to figure out. Just look across the water from Rory where he dropped his ball and you can notice a large mound where the long bunker across the water begins, then pause the video at 21 seconds with his ball still in the air and you can see the large mound across the water and his ball clearly lands a good distance down further than the mound you see in the background. So he dropped his ball well behind where it actually went in the water no question about it.
@lg7014 Says:
There is a large concentric overlap of "Rory conspiracists" and "MAGA conspiracists".
@KarlG-y2v Says:
Where did The Golf Channel get the idea that people would want to hear a British woman who knows little to nothing about golf lead discussions with three golf pro's who are visibly ill at ease with the format while she just drones on? It's ruining the golf viewing experience for me and I can't imagine I'm the only one. Just awful!
@oldfartgolf Says:
What is all the fuss about, I guess I don't understand. It went in the water and regardless he got penalized. Are we nitpicking about a 20-foot drop zone difference? Is there possible penalty strokes at play I'm not aware of? Who cares if it bounced above or below the red line? What difference does that make? Someone explain because I don't think I get it.
@jamesburke7033 Says:
Rory is a cheat
@scottdowdell1567 Says:
I like how Jordan came back from the middle of the fairway to cause a problem..nice of even to watch each other's ball flight..no way Rory's ball landed below that red line.
@davel4125 Says:
Rory should have taken the least controversial position and assume the ball landed before the red line.
@billbkr32ify Says:
Rory is known for his integrity. This is a sport of gentlemen and integrity. I agree with the decision myself.
@johnryan3102 Says:
I never knew he was a cheater. That is sad.
@ClaytonBigsby89 Says:
Is this a joke
@davidbrackney289 Says:
Rory is the epitome of honor and integrity in the sport, and doing the right thing. Now, if it were Patrick Reed, I'd be asking some questions.
@mtbtx9304 Says:
This is why ppl HATE the PGA
@claytonwyne6540 Says:
I can't stand that Irish commentator. If it was an American golfer he'd have a total opposite view
@ilov3ohio2002 Says:
Wyndham Clark and Rory are destroying our great game. The good news is that LIV golf is here with honor and integrity.
@Kubush1 Says:
Rory is still cheating
@elchops69 Says:
I think somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd throw
@jimiverson3085 Says:
No way that ball would have bounced up if it landed all the way down the slope where the red line was.
@IdahoArmenian Says:
If u can throw it 165mph 3 times in a row , then I’ll listen. But u can’t so what’s the point?
@turdferguson2839 Says:
Rory definitely cheated, he dropped his ball before anyone even had a chance to question it or the rules officials were able to discuss it. Theres no way his ball landed on top of that slope, at the very least it was 3 or 4 feet closer to the water. The ball throwing experiment is pointless because the balls werent thrown at the same angle or speed as Rory's shot.
@temporarystranger95 Says:
The LIV lackeys in the comments are the same brain dead people at Trump rallies. They hate Rory and the PGA Tour for purely political reasons. Just another example of how people debase themselves in service of the orange Caligula. They sycophantically applaud every Nero bad note from the stage. Rory clearly says he “wants to do the right thing” (2:12). Let the Patrick Reeds play the LIV Exhibition Tour.
@tekepenguin1981 Says:
Maybe its just because they get more coverage, but it always seems to be the same suspecs.
@timpoos4635 Says:
No way it landed left of that red line
@JJG86 Says:
PGA is pulling hard for Rory to win.
@JJG86 Says:
Rory’s always confident, when it’s in his favor.
@dinglbarry1275 Says:
That guy throwing the balls was ridiculous A person has to be so insanely out of touch to think that throwing the ball into the ground is representative of a golf shot with a hook hitting the ground
@mikebelnap3079 Says:
Golf’s inner circle of power need Rory to win to justify their tour….even he’s a cheater
@jc1204 Says:
What a waste of good golf balls.
@kentsnider3644 Says:
Sad they have to do this to protect the tour from someone watching on tv might call in.
Still better than the microscopic view they had on Clark's club moving the ball and then making the wrong call.
