...what planet is he on...😂...OK Jordan continue on the PGA Tour with even more players going to LIV...yeah right...keep telling yourself you don't need ALL the best players back together...😂
@wgsmit02 Says:
I suppose blood soaked petro dollars are better than pif dollars, both tours are a snooze fest
@johnnycashh7148 Says:
It's called Pro-Am...1 day... 👎
@ifldiscovery8500 Says:
He does not know what he is talking about.
@wbwright79 Says:
Alex's question is interesting. to paraphrase "Why would you still need to do a PIF deal?".. and Jordan's answer "I don't think that it's needed .. it's almost not worth talking about right this second..". this is a really honest and direct answer to arguably the most difficult question that could have been asked. the whole presser went pretty well.
@jimmartin181 Says:
"How important is it for them to be involved?"
Could they ask questions that actually mean something?
@MW-uy3np Says:
Look for new lawsuits from LIV when the merger doesn’t happen. The PGA never intended to merge - they just wanted to stop the lawsuits
@solenvy Says:
The 2 tours will never be in true competition because traditional golf fans have ZERO interest in LIV. They will keep playing the game but they will not watch LIV, and they will forever watch with disgust when they see clowns like Blood Money Bryson, and the other "forgotten" great ones. The Royal Family did not know that 15 Saudi hijackers were in the U.S. attending flight training school, really? Seriously?
@krisw7625 Says:
Did he really just use the word “strategery”?????
Was that joke, because it didn’t come off as a joke.
@joeperrone6677 Says:
So the only three big questions left are: How unhappy is PIF that Jay has reneged on the framework agreement? who are the next group of major players LIV buys (Rory, Tiger, Hovland)? and, When does the DP World Tour merge with LIV (it is pretty obvious that Jay's plan is to screw them too)?
@markhuru Says:
This is golf! Same interview if LIV… yea hey I already got pd so if I win well bonus.
@johnhope7359 Says:
When asked what he would like to see done to improve the game for the fans now that SSG has invested - he said he didn't know. Ths is one of the people leading the charge for the PGAT. You can't help but think the PGAT and their team are really clueless. I think based on Spieth's performance there is absolutely no desire to reach agreement with the PIF, so I really hope we don't hear any noises from the PGAT side about unifying the game and having all the best players plauing against one another. Really sounding like 2 competing tours going forward, but this time the PGAT is not the goliath and can crush competing tours as they have done to all the other world tours.
@wreckim Says:
Jordan is having a hard time with this, but I can't say I blame him. The LIV money has changed the sport, at least for now. There are guys getting paid huge sums of money to play less, and to play more poorly even. It's almost like WWE - ing a real competitive sport, and claiming that it's still competitive, but it's so much 'more'....and now the PGA is responding with tit for tat etc...they're trying not to lose any more talent, and let that talent know they might leave for money, lose tradition, prestige etc...and actually give up almost as much money to begin with. I think Rham is the last big star that's making this move for a while; until the dust settles.
@Nadia_Milkova Says:
Don't try to turn golf into something it's not. Golf and tennis are intense sports with unique atmospheres. The Oil Tour wants to turn it into a low IQ circus. PGA Tour needs to stay true to the essence of the game.
@Handletaken4 Says:
Jordan will be playing against Larry Bird, Magic, Jordan and Doctor J this week.
Bryson, DJ, Rahm will be playing against Meadowlark Lemon, Curly Neal, and the Globetrotters.
Real vs Exhib
Missing a cut vs buckets of confetti
@rickfromboston Says:
The players should ask for Jay Monahan’s resignation, this sounds like a big snow job. This has been mishandled from the beginning the PGA needs new leadership. They need to make a deal with PIF and this harebrained scheme isn’t going to work. He says this deal allows the PGA to move forward; baloney! PIF is hiring away the talent!
@Lee-si2sp Says:
he should be a politician 🤣
@steveandrews6280 Says:
Love spieth but blowing smoke not his game
@daviddunnigan8202 Says:
Players indirectly owned over 1 billion stake to themselves and now you are happy with roughly 20% stake in a 1.4 B valuation…bad math and trusting Jay was a huge mistake.
