Thousands of Stories: The Team At Brentford, we believe football is for everyone. The UEFA Women's EURO saw a vast increase in female participation in football. We were honoured to host some of the matches at the Gtech Community Stadium and since have been seeking to build on the action, supporting women who want to play recreationally and in our women's team. Every Wednesday, the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust holds a recreational football session for women over 16 of all abilities, giving them a safe and welcoming space to get playing and further their love for football at an affordable price. The Team tells the story of Lauren who was inspired by her younger daughter, Zoe, to attend the sessions.
