Letting team go to olympic just cos they are they best in the continent but not one of the best teams in the world, makes boring matches, less competitive and less attractive to international viewers also makes the competition less prestigious.

For example: Asia will not have a team qualified after these qualification tournaments
If that happened, does it mean that only one Asian team will go to the Olympic Games, or fivb will give a WC to two teams from Asia?
I took Asia for example, of course.

I thought the ranking based qualification to the last world championship was dumb enough... Please stop keeping the same top teams afloat with these qualification methods and your elitist VNL core team quotas! At least the continental qualification system was semi open.

Less complicated for "big teams" to get to the Olympics this time. Especially european ones. If you're on the top seeds, you're very likely to be qualified...
I remember a few years ago, when you got Poland, Slovenia, France, Germany and Russia in the same qualification tournament !! And only the first was qualified, the second could fight in an another tournament, the rest was out. Terrible.

example of a downside of this qualification process back in Tokyo 2020 oqt, Brazil and Argentina qualified, the top 2 South American teams meant that a low ranking south american team will go to the Olympics, which was Venezuela.
