But if we talk about balance I haven’t seen us win with both Lavia and Caicedo. I worry about lack of movement in attack. My preferred transition is Cucu inverting into CDM meaning Reece playing RB. The reason is Cucu gives us energy in retrieving the ball and doesn’t get intimidated, he is a no bit of a bully in there. In attack he gives unpredictability which I’m sure is exactly why he doesn’t start there. Should we have a player inverting high as a 10 it has to be Reece as he will be a threat with passing and shooting. Naturally I understand fitness may not be there. But starting both Reece and Cucu you get that flexibility. I personally think Caicedo also plays better with Enzo’s movement up to the 10 position and Cucu inverting. I can’t help to think, what would happen if not Caicedo, but Lavia played the dual roll? Can he shoot? We know he and Caicedo can both pass.
