I didnt see the lineup otherwise i would have got the subscription again. Ive been so dissapointed with the scheduling this year. The ten day masters have really ruined the season. I didnt mind the american ones in march. But the euro clay swing was my absolute favourite tennis season. But the ten day masters are bad enough but the decision to play the ten day tournaments back to back is such a horrible decision. Its hard to know whrn it starts and then towards the end of the tournament theres not much tennis either so its really hard not to switch off. Thats also ten days of no action as theres 30 days a month and only 20 days at tournaments. Slams can get away with it because theres so much tennis in the first week, like 128 matches (mens and womens and then doubles on,wrdnesday or friday) so its 6 days of that many matches and also has the beautifup 5 set matches which are epic. I also dont like that tennis is trying to speed up too much. Tennis people love the classic matches. Its a true test of character. 5set tiebreakers at 6-6 should not be a thing. I agree once its 12-12 its going to be so hard to recover. Except for a slam final. Then it could be 30-30 and a tiebreaker. Lets not even discuss the atrocity thats happened to davis cup. Thats criminal. Not just because it was my favourite competition for its consistent blockbuster peak competitors 5 set masterpieces EVERY SINGPE TIME. Not only because there was unique home and away atmosphere. But because it had beautiful tradition as well Stadiums always sold out. And ot was a super challenge to win. You couldnt just have one super star. So you knew every year federer would win wimbledon. Nadal wins french but davis cup was different. Which was even more impressive when Czech Republic won it back to back. Davis cup is now football inspired. What. Like all the problems, corruption, cheating, money lopsidedness amongst other problems. The beautiful and almost entirely perfect sport of tennis choosest yes the most popular but the most problematic sport to tell us what to do. Ive never watched the new davis cup. Its just odd and just nlan exhibition. Think of the original idea. Would prefer the original england vs usa lol but cmon seriously davis cup should be different. The biggest problem with tennis that should be fixed is creating more focus on challengers. Why not have more coverage and more media around it. Especially countries that cant get many atp250 cards. Why not make it a thing. Anyways. Tennis why did you change. Dont fix it if it aint broken. And you confused fixing and sabotaging.
