But he needs some serious work if he wants to improve his major weaknesses, namely his unreliable back-hand and his net game. You see him match after match missing or hitting weak backhands or putting himself completely out of position because he is trying so hard to hit a forehand (when the obvious choice is a backhand). The same goes for his net game, on this regard he is going backwards, in 2022 he was finishing points quite often at the net, now frequently when the opportunity appears he hesitates and moves too late to the net or stay at the back of the court. Seeing how little progress he has made in the past 2 years, it may be time to try a few different things, starting with replacing his current coach.>> <<@fwvw7056 says : Shelton won the match but Wawrinka won the highlights, those points in the second set.
