Mensik is only 19 so he has much time to improve. His level in the first set was so good but it is what happens after that that makes 20+ Grand Slam Champions: that mental fortitude. It's not enough to be able to play a good set of tennis. It's maintaining that level and mindset match after match, year after year. Quite incredible.

His serves and Mensik’s errors saved him from being eliminated from the QF in the 3rd set. He was visibly exhausted. I don’t know how he will manage against Fritz cos Fritz doesn’t look like he is gonna make the mistakes that were made here.
