I never thought this defense was as elite as the first 3 games showed. Too often, we have blown coverages, but when your tackles need to block TJ, Alex, and Herbig, it can make the backend of your Defense look better. Tomlin must stop playing scared as we enter the most challenging part of our schedule, or the losses will begin to mount. Hopefully, Tomlin and the OC will learn from the losses from the last 2 games, but something tells me they won't. This also clears the way for Russell to get put in as the starter next week, and then they can say, "Well, Justin has not won the job outright."
