Poor passing and aimless kicking. I never understood the strategy of taking a penalty kick inside 10 metres from the try line, especially early in the match. Let your forwards have a go. Establish your presence early. The ref was a bit of a nit picker at times, which often happens between two second tier teams. He can’t help himself become an old schoolmarm, “teaching” the peasants who is in charge and who interprets the laws. World Rugby has to fix this. Let the teams play, penalize the obvious, but don’t “correct” every little nuance.
