Hope this becomes the new format>> <<@Seren-Dipity-xyz says : why is this Liverpool better than last year? - actually Klopp made plenty of big mistakes, playing the season always sharp, risky, a series of sprints instead of a marathon (injuries!) - Grav and Gakpo have really improved, especially Grav as number 6 and Szobo as number 10 is great - Konate && Virgil massive, Quan is great I think Gomez should be phased out for some young talent (sorry) - Great 4 defenders who can run high (Trent, Bradley, Andy, Tsimi) but Chiesa might be tried out as attacking left back making the team a monster in attack with Trent on the right - Macca and Endo as number 6-8 proved last year that they can be beasts, mentality is GREAT, Slot also sees they are both slow which made team actually weak last year (conceding a lot and then great energy bursts to win or equalize was one of the reasons last season went actually bad, again: it is a marathon)... Endo may be a great sub, especially to tackle less important matches and injuries, Macca can step up as a leader any time, taking number 10 with Chiesa from Szobo if needed (tired, rest, injury, bad form etc) - Diaz is taking a charge here, I hope 30+ Salah is great enough to utilize a mature role of scoring a lot and assisting! Salah has the most goal+assist in the team as of now and Salah plays very intelligently, he may just let Diaz become the scoring star of the team! go for goals+assists! - Salah is still a gem, Gakpo is stepping up (last season last 2 months and the Euro were already incredible, he was great against Milan too) - a humbled Nunez could be great, I hope Slot team takes the edges off and teach him to become a true number 9, scoring 90% not 50%... talent is there, he should leave the emotional Spanish for a more structered language... he MUST learn, Klopp was (despite being German) an EMO, playing sharp all the time - Sorry but Curtis, Elliott, even Jota (and Nunez if will not learn) should be phased out... Curtis and Jota are ok but they could be improved upon (Olmo, Füllkrug type players)... Elliott is just too sharp and cannot defend, might seem good but he was a big reason last season actually went bad... Klopp trusted Elliott and Nunez too much because of their firy style DREAM: Musiala or Yamal for Salah next year :) Sala is great but Liverpool must become future proof!>> <<@weirdunclebob says : Not much of a view of the San Siro until the kick off at 10:50!
