Look at the Vikings who have Darnold on a small contract and their future QB on a rookie contract. They can afford to over Jefferson. Then look at Lamb and Aiyuk who are on top teams with top QBs. They are the ones caught in the middle. The 49ers have to pay Purdy after this season, they can not afford to over pay Aiyuk.
