<<@JimRitz-vm9mi says : That's even more crazy than Brandon Marsh's "Sandlot" catch>> <<@gotoleo7536 says : Wow!! Go play the lottery>> <<@lyndaalicea6037 says : Extra hidden ball>> <<@jackfullerton5762 says : As amazing as that player’s bat flip that landed on-end. Everything in baseball is done with mirrors.>> <<@K_3_23 says : I had to watch that 4 times 😅>> <<@MaroonSandPod says : This is definitely one of the coolest catches I've ever seen>> <<@Willie_McBride says : I never would have made that play! Because after breaking two fingers when I left my throwing hand unprotected, missing 2/3 of that season, I had that hand in a fist pressed into the small of my back EVERY PITCH for the rest of my catching career. My dad sent me to a baseball camp where former minor league catcher gave me private lessons on how to rapidly get that hand around to throw out baserunners etc. Part of the mechanics is bringing the glove up to your right ear, as you’re bringing your right hand to the same place. All while hopping up, and blading your body at the same time, to get into a throwing motion. I was never the biggest, strongest or most talented player, but I studied the game, and listened to REAL coaches, and absorbed everything I possibly could, so I’d at least be the smartest player on the diamond. That kept me competitive and playing long after I would have based on physical ability alone, at a time when everyone else got much bigger & much better. Every coach I had was always impressed by how I ‘managed the game’ from behind the plate. Shifting outfielders. Positioning infielders, Creates a series of hand signals with my infielders when there were runners on base. And, occasionally would let my pitcher ‘call his own game’, depending on the pitcher!! Sorry I hijacked this thread to mostly pat myself on the back. Just a stroll down memory lane. Thanks for indulging me.>> <<@davidlivingoodk says : Many love and play the game of Baseball. Others play catcher>> <<@abeben1268 says : Damn jedi catch>> <<@rayfactor1236 says : Walks with a limp for 3 weeks.>> <<@markgreen2805 says : Behind the buttocks thru his almost could of hit his huevos. But extremely sick!!!>> <<@Baseballkinggg says : Yk that hurt>> <<@SantiagoSerna-z3b says : POV: his hand🔥🔥🔥>> <<@phillp7777 says : that is a foul ball rly..( still a strike on batter) . ball touched grd after batter swings misses.. but catcher missed catching.. hit his keft inner thigh then bounced bet legs he snatched ..ny luck in his R hand and did bigbshowboat to ump make him think he caught a foul tip direct off bat. If this was on 3rd strike batter is out by ump calling it him out. But if as catcher rly knows bakl hit grd furst.. he actualky has to tag the batter.. bc batter if he knows is awake can takeoff run to first. usualky batter never makes it.. catcher usually easy tags batter or throws diwn to 1st and 1st baseman steos on bag b4 batter ever gets there.. and NOW batter is finaljy officialky OUT. not like in this vid. Catcher is suoer exoerienced to even catch that ball in his bare R hand .. takes only split millisec most foul tips off bat going over 100mph in MLB pro ball w speed of pitchers tgat level plus comin off bat on foul tip. So fast. very complicated rule of baseball. umpire for over 20yrs very hard ump to see bc blocked by catcher. has to go by sound and hear it too to decide..>> <<@Mauricio-px1ep says : I didn’t even blink and I missed it😂>> <<@alfredobulusan3916 says : He cheated, he had another ball>> <<@reece13e3u7 says : Wow>> <<@Robert-fp8re says : I thought he had an extra ball. Good catch.>> <<@ivantackes2756 says : That is definitely cheating and got away with it>> <<@mikejungferman4744 says : It's like parking your car, you know where the fenders are, he knows where his hand is and that baseball .>> <<@hidingfromu5293 says : Well shite. I looked at it like 5 times and couldn’t figure how he got the ball from his glove to his other hand. Had to read the comments to know what happened. Thought he was a magician.>> <<@TeranceAshford says : Ok I seen that what a great catch probably won't see that in my again😮😮😅>> <<@TeranceAshford says : That is fake he had the ball in the other hand the one with no glove on it😅>> <<@alan.s5773 says : Clever editing! Cut out 2 or 3 frames in the video.>> <<@joshpierce7449 says : The reflexes in his had to grab on and hold the ball was nuts! Most people it would have just bounced off their hand amd they would have thought "what was that">> <<@Daforealkindastuf says : Where is the fience on the 3rd base side>> <<@dustinmartinson1234 says : WHAT.>> <<@washingtonchicken6944 says : This is straight up witchcraft😂>> <<@melvinbfernandez says : I watched it a few times. That was just wild. Reflex for the right hand to hold on like that>> <<@memyselfi6276 says : I would call the catcher out is it out of the game>> <<@memyselfi6276 says : THAT'S VERY CLEVER BUT THAT AIN'T RIGHT>> <<@davidmcdaniel5150 says : What a complete badass>> <<@SandiHaley-df5fl says : DAM!! ❤>> <<@stevensuarez6779 says : What does nonchalant mean ?>> <<@DavidFrye-lp2ge says : 😮😮😮>> <<@joshuaclayton1409 says : That wasn't skill, it was an accident. I've had similar thing happen to me.>> <<@mattyezz83 says : wow>> <<@Badger66023 says : Whats the mph on that pitch>> <<@Ticklestiny says : I know his hand hurts 😭>> <<@Muricathebeautiful1776 says : MLB, I’m going to my FIRST GAME TODAY! And it would make my day if you pinned or responded to my comment! If you don’t want to, that is okay as well!>> <<@juanita3429 says : Selemetio>> <<@StompersBlitzball says : I didn’t blink and still missed it 😮>> <<@buffhooper7417 says : Where are they playing?
