Good all-around team effort from them tonight. Glasnow was strong despite serving up that classic ambush fastball to a struggling Rhys Hoskins for the GS in the 4th inning (him and Smith really need to sequence better after that). Smith finally over his recent hitting woes with an offensive night to remember (was hoping he'd match Gil Hodges and Shawn Green with 4HR, but apparently the Brewers know their own franchise history all too well-lol). Don't look now, but Miguel Vargas is quietly on the verge of a long-overdue breakout season now that he's getting regular playing time of late. Kid always had the potential impact bat and now he's beginning to show it for real. If he keeps this up, Dodgers won't need to go after another OF at the trade deadline. Bullpen looked great with the 3 guys expected to lock down those final innings (Treinen, Hudson, Phillips).
