Anyway, it seems whenever our starter has blanked the other team and we're nursing a one or two run lead into the 7th, our BP just can't share the vibe and blows it. Holding a slim lead is the highest calling for a bullpen pitcher! @#%^. That scenario should get them pumped, not get them like scared little puppies and unable to perform. At this point the only guys who seem to be competitive this season (who aren't injured) are Wesneski and our recent acquisition Tyson Miller. I'm pretty sure Smyly would have given up a run, but just one. Leiter Jr.' reputation exceeds his actual performance. I feel like if Cuas were still in the BP, Counsel would have gone to him.
