<<@dibber43 says : One of THE greatest calls in the history of golf on television...Verne Lundquist calling the chip shot on #16 at The Masters in 2005. One of THE greatest shots in professional golf history...Tiger Woods history-making shot. I'll NEVER EVER forget the sight, the sound, the astonishing event.>> <<@bofadeez5705 says : God love Uncle Verne ❤>> <<@tomlindskog7686 says : Me too, l loved it. Have a great retirement, Verne ❤😂❤😂>> <<@chrisbrimhall1613 says : Man the history this man witnessed>> <<@davidcombs3617 says : Verne never took credit for how great he was and named everyone who did great work on the iconic call. Will miss Verne on college sports too.>> <<@JeffreyLang-j5i says : SUCH A CLASS ACT!! APPRECIATE YOU MR. LUNDQUIST!!!>> <<@mr.intensity2685 says : I saw it live! I'm old enough to remember Jack Nicklaus winning in '86, but I saw in on the evening news. Watching Tiger play golf was like watching a Mike Tyson fight. In his prime, he was beating everyone's ass!>> <<@duffgolf says : I love how he gave props to the technical crew. The shot was perfect, the switching was perfect, the call was perfect>> <<@johnfinnerty4243 says : "In your life...." Immortal!>> <<@rickwilliamson9248 says : I still get ticked that Davis Love III's chip-in in (I believe) 1999 doesnt get the credit it deserves. If not for that shot Tiger might not even have tried that shot - much less made it.>> <<@chrisarseneault5617 says : I will miss Verne as much as I miss Ken Venturi.>> <<@diamonddog13 says : "In your life have you ever seen anything like this" just moments after talking about how Davis Love made a similar shot.>> <<@parataisocoveful says : Oh stop it, Norman!>> <<@iec7587 says : I'd like to see the players come out and give him a standing O>> <<@michaelbardeleben4519 says : It's all so very sad that the most wonderful game ever is corrupted by TV ratings and money.....the true spirit of the game has been lost fueled by biggest cash cow ever Tiger whose heart attitude stinks to high heaven No pro golfer spoke to Tiger Woods after his first win at Augusta because they were sickened by his arrogant proud manner. Like Vijay Singh, he had zero friends. The most complaints the BBC ever got was in the third round of the 2000 Open Championship when over 5000 phone calls were logged in an hour and a half complaining quite rightly as to why nobody else was being shown on the coverage. It's really really embarrasing hiw a man whise total disrespect for women and women's golf can be so idolized and worshipped like this Vern Lundquist. Don't people realize Tiger is yesterdays news and he should have dq'd himself at the 2013 Masters rules fiasco and debarcle.>> <<@jeffreycooley2032 says : I remembered that vividly.>> <<@Dreama40 says : Call of the Century!>> <<@cleveland2022 says : Great segment by Verne Lundquist and Rich Lerner. Verne Lundquist is an absolute legend. I will never forget the Tiger Chip call and his great broadcasting with SEC football, and college hoops in March Madness. A true legend that will be sorely missed. Congrats Verne!>> <<@mpc77769 says : The answer has ALWAYS been... Plainly No>> <<@jo6655 says : Please post the full interview.>> <<@kevinhartman7465 says : Thank you Verne. Masters, college football and hoops, part of the soundtrack of my childhood.>> <<@jon7alt88 says : Is the full interview available anywhere?>>
